Dad Was About to Beat Up His Son

Panda attacked first.

The panda, originally round and harmless-looking, suddenly seemed to mutate, its appearance changing drastically.

Its plump body first flattened, then bulged with slabs of muscle.

Rather than a panda, it looked more like a gorilla with panda coloring.

"Ooooooh...!"

Having turned into a black-and-white gorilla, Panda seemed to have become more ferocious as well. His eyes gleamed viciously as he suddenly lunged forward, crushing the ground beneath his feet and kicking up a cloud of dust as he shot toward Riezel.

"Nue!"

Fushiguro Megumi was only a step slower than Panda. As Panda flew forward, Megumi formed a hand sign and summoned the avian shikigami. As Nue soared into the air, Megumi himself charged toward Riezel.

"If we're fighting, and it's five against one, then we have to win!"

Kugisaki Nobara shouted, sweeping her hand. Several nails infused with cursed energy flew into the air, then were struck out all at once by the Hammer and Nails in her hand, shooting toward Riezel.

Including Zenin Maki, everyone among Fushiguro Megumi's group moved except Inumaki Toge, who remained where he was. They formed a perfectly coordinated encirclement and charged at Riezel.

"Not bad. You actually look convincing."

Riezel had just sidestepped Zenin Maki's swing when Panda and Fushiguro Megumi came charging at him. Nue, crackling with lightning, dove down from above, while several cursed-energy-infused nails shot toward him. A smile appeared on his face.

At first glance, Fushiguro Megumi and the others seemed to be attacking him simultaneously. In truth, though, both their positioning and the sequence of their attacks had been carefully planned. They neither hindered their teammates' movements nor failed to switch positions effectively, supporting and assisting one another.

This was not a mindless charge. It was a coordinated assault launched after careful consideration and observation.
