It was raining in Shibuya that day as well.
A steady drizzle fell from the gray sky, unaffected by the veil covering Shibuya. It passed straight through the veil's barrier and fell within it.
"Does this veil only allow entry but not exit?"
Standing in midair as though on solid ground, Riezel watched the scene, narrowing his eyes thoughtfully before slowly descending as if walking down invisible steps.
Before long, Riezel passed through the veil's barrier and entered Shibuya.
Surprisingly, Shibuya was completely deserted inside.
There was not a single person on the streets or inside the buildings—not even a ghost.
The streets were empty, with nothing but wreckage scattered everywhere.
Some of it was windblown trash, some was broken stone and rubble, and some consisted of cars, streetlights, signs, glass, and other man-made objects. All of it had been strewn across the ground, making all of Shibuya look like an abandoned city, utterly devoid of the bustling prosperity expected of a tourist destination and special administrative district.
Clearly, a battle with an enormous area of impact had taken place here.

Riezel did not think about what had happened to the ordinary people who had originally been here—or rather, he tried not to.
He merely raised his gaze toward the center of the veil.
There was another veil there.
"So more than one veil has appeared in Shibuya?"
Just as Riezel was about to fly over, he suddenly heard a loud shout.
"Rie—zel—!"
That bold, booming voice brought Riezel, who had been about to shoot forward, to an abrupt halt. He then turned toward the source of the voice.
Four figures entered his sight.
The four stood at a corner of the chaotic street, one of them shouting in his direction.
Looking closely, two of them wore Jujutsu High
