"A player has added a new rule to the Culling Game!"
"Culling Game Rule Fourteen: Players may freely enter and leave the barriers!"
"This rule takes effect immediately!"
This was the rule added when Kengso headed for the Sendai Barrier, Uraume headed for the Tokyo First Barrier, and they prepared to bring Itadori Yuji out of the Tokyo First Barrier.
The one who proposed this rule was none other than Uraume.
In order to change Sukuna's vessel, Uraume had begun acting in the Culling Game long ago, killing numerous players and non-players alike and accumulating a great many game points.
Riezel had previously believed Duroff to be the person closest to one hundred points among the ten barriers of the Culling Game. In reality, however, Uraume had even more points than Duroff.
By the time Riezel entered the Sendai Barrier, Uraume had already accumulated ninety-five points. They only needed to kill one more sorcerer-type player to gather enough points to add a rule.
Thus, while Kengso headed for the Sendai Barrier, Uraume first killed a sorcerer-type player to gather the necessary points. Then, they attacked Itadori Yuji in the Tokyo First Barrier and added the rule allowing free entry and exit from the barriers in order to take him out.
Therefore, by the time Riezel and Kengso began their confrontation, all ten Culling Game barriers could already be freely entered and exited.
At that moment, Sukuna, having completed the "Bathing Ritual," appeared within the Sendai Barrier with Uraume.
"How did you end up like this?"
Uraume followed closely behind Sukuna, carrying Kengso's head in one hand as they spoke with a disgusted expression.
"...Obviously, I miscalculated."
Kengso fell silent for a moment before letting out a bitter laugh.
The two spoke behind Sukuna as though no one else existed, completely
