"Bing'er, you're becoming more and more beautiful. How wonderful it would be if this moment could freeze forever." Ye Xiaofeng spoke sorrowfully, then pulled Shui Bing'er into his arms and kissed her.

"Xiaofeng, is something on your mind? Can you tell me?" Shui Bing'er saw through his worries.

"It's nothing. I was just saying." Ye Xiaofeng said no more, took Shui Bing'er's hand, and caught up with the others as they continued searching the outer region of the Extreme North for suitable soul beasts.

"Hey, how long are you two going to keep showing off your affection?" Xue Wu could not stand it anymore. Neither she nor Shui Yue'er wanted to be a third wheel.

"Wu'er, didn't you promise to marry me? How about the two of us make them jealous instead?" Ye Xiaofeng said with a grin.

"Go to hell. You want to marry me without taking a look at yourself first? You look decent enough, but nothing good ever comes out of that dog mouth of yours." Xue Wu showed Ye Xiaofeng absolutely no mercy.

"If only you were half as gentle as Yue'er." Ye Xiaofeng noticed Shui Yue'er secretly laughing as they bickered.

"I'm not marrying you, so why are you worrying about it?" Xue Wu grew angry the moment Ye Xiaofeng said something bad about her.

"Ah, for someone as handsome as me, the fact that you can't see it makes me deeply worried about your future."

Ye Xiaofeng adjusted his hair, convinced that he was the most handsome man in the world.

"Yue'er, don't you agree?" Ye Xiaofeng turned to ask.

"There don't seem to be any other suitable soul beasts in this area. How about we check that mountain ahead?" Shui Bing'er said, looking at the snowy mountain before them.

"Alright. Be careful, then." Ye Xiaofeng took the lead.

The four of them walked for three days before reaching the foot of the snowy mountain. It had clearly looked close, yet the more they walked, the farther it seemed.

"I'm exhausted. I can't walk anymore," Xue Wu said, gasping for breath.

"Then let's rest at the foot of the mountain tonight and climb it tomorrow." Seeing that night was approaching, Shui Bing'er spoke to the others.

The four searched around the foot of the mountain for a place to rest and finally found a cave not far away.

After Ye Xiaofeng cleaned the wild rabbits, he prepared to roast them.

"What did the rations ever do to offend you? Go pick them up," Ye Xiaofeng deliberately said.

"None of your business. If you want them, go pick them up yourself," Xue Wu said angrily.

Yue'er could not bear to watch the two continue arguing, so she turned and picked them up, intending to put them back into the pack.

"Yue'er, give them to me. Bring the rest over too," Ye Xiaofeng said to Shui Yue'er.

Ye Xiaofeng took the rations from Shui Yue'er's hand and slowly warmed them over the fire until they seemed about right.

"Wu'er, calm down a little." Ye Xiaofeng handed the rations she had thrown away back to Xue Wu.

"Can I even eat this? It nearly knocked my teeth out just now," Xue Wu muttered with pursed lips.

"Try it and you'll know," Ye Xiaofeng said with a smile.

"I didn't expect you to have this skill." After eating the warmed rations, Xue Wu found that they actually tasted better than usual and could not help praising Ye Xiaofeng.

"You have no idea how many more skills I have. Why don't we try some of the others tonight?" Ye Xiaofeng said lecherously.

Xue Wu looked at Ye Xiaofeng. She had wanted to ask what other skills he had, but seeing his lecherous grin, she knew it could not be anything good. Still, she did not curse him this time.

Ye Xiaofeng passed the warmed rations to Shui Bing'er and Shui Yue'er, then ate one himself. By then, the wild rabbits were nearly done, and the aroma of roasted meat filled the cave. The three sheltered beauties swallowed hard.

Shui Yue'er was practically drooling, staring fixedly at the rabbits over the fire. Even Xue Wu no longer had any compassion for rabbits.

"Xiaofeng, are they almost ready?" Shui Bing'er also asked impatiently.

"They're ready. Don't rush." Ye Xiaofeng slowly removed the rabbits' two hind legs and handed them to Shui Bing'er and Shui Yue'er.

"Thank you, Brother Xiaofeng." Shui Yue'er casually called Ye Xiaofeng her brother for the sake of delicious food, and she did not feel she was losing out.

"Yue'er, I think I just heard someone say she loved little rabbits and blamed me for killing them," Ye Xiaofeng said, turning toward Shui Yue'er.

"I think I heard that too."

"I heard it too," Shui Yue'er and Shui Bing'er chimed in.

"Hmph, I won't eat any. Is that good enough for you?" Xue Wu said angrily, turning aside to gnaw on her rations.

"Take it. This is yours." Ye Xiaofeng did not continue teasing her.

"I'm not eating it." Xue Wu could not bring herself to back down and could only refuse.

"If you don't eat it now, there won't be any left," Ye Xiaofeng said with a smile.

"I'll let you off this time. If you provoke me again, I definitely won't spare you." The moment Xue Wu heard that the food would be gone, she immediately snatched the rabbit meat Ye Xiaofeng offered her.

Ye Xiaofeng roasted while eating, and the four of them finally had a full meal. After finishing, Xue Wu did not forget to lick her fingers.

To the three girls, it was the most delicious food they had ever eaten. Yet Ye Xiaofeng was somewhat troubled. Once he helped them obtain their soul rings, his mission would nearly be complete.
