Nothing remained unchanged.
In the previous chapter's comments, someone questioned why Nanji had already reached Hunyuan Wuji while his junior brothers were only at the Half-step Hunyuan stage, saying they did not understand.
First of all, there was a misconception.
The misconception was: did everyone's strength remain unchanged?
Don't you brothers know the saying, "A brick wall is built higher by those who come after"?
One chaos lasted 5.6 billion years; one tribulation lasted 5.6 billion chaos; 5.6 billion tribulations made one Immeasurable Tribulation.
At first, tribulation was a unit of time. In my setting, Luohu attained the Dao through tribulations and ushered in the Immeasurable Tribulation, becoming the Demon Ancestor of the Heavens. Only afterward did it become a calamity.
So, taking the Taiyi Primordial Era as the starting point, with countless tribulations before Taiyi and countless tribulations after it, did everyone's strength remain unchanged?
The only thing in the world that never changed was change itself.
The Dao was walked step by step; it did not remain unchanged.
When the Great Dao first opened, there was no Dao in the heavens. It was the Chaos Divine Demons and the Postnatal beings, one after another, who enriched the myriad Daos and perfected the Great Dao.
Da Luo pursued Hunyuan, Hunyuan longed for Wuji, Wuji sought "Tai," and Tai sought something higher. The Dao had no end.
That was the setting of this book.
