In the Beginning Was a God, Named Shang

The surging river rolled onward, boundless and shoreless, without beginning or end.

The instant Gu Shaoshang entered, he saw the River of Time and Space flowing back and forth. Only then did he understand what it was that had been drawing him here from the unseen.

"A World's Worthy..."

Gu Shaoshang's gaze flickered as he resisted the inexplicable great force upon the River of Time and Space. Countless thoughts about this world flashed through his mind.

In Gu Shaoshang's understanding, the cultivation system of A World's Worthy was divided into Foundation Establishment, Nine Apertures, Outer Scenery, Dharma Body (Human Immortal, Earth Immortal, Celestial Immortal), Legend, Fortune, the Other Shore, and Dao Fruit (Transcendence).

Of these, the realms Gu Shaoshang valued most were the Other Shore and Dao Fruit.

The Other Shore realm in this world was one where the true light of one's nature completely leaped beyond the River of Time, allowing one to trace back to before Creation of Heaven and Earth, reach the source of time itself, become one of the most ancient beings, and simultaneously occupy more of the future, knowing and possessing all of it until one formed the prototype of a Dao Fruit.

And true transcendence was the Dao Fruit realm.

In this world, it was called unknowable and indescribable, all-knowing, omnipresent, omnipotent. To speak of it was wrong, to think of it was fallacy. Creation of Heaven and Earth could be speculated upon, but Dao Fruit could not be measured.

It was a realm that even Gu Shaoshang could not comprehend at present.

He only knew that the greatest powers of this world, such as the Three Pure Ones Dao Venerables, were all casting off their karmic entanglements with this world. Meng Qi on the original trajectory was a chess piece for this world's
