Another annoying single-chapter ramble.
Competing for monthly votes was truly a painful thing.
Tu Gou was slow-witted and clumsy with his hands, writing a thousand words an hour. He sat in front of the computer every day, writing for an entire day, including planning.
Originally, two months ago, Tu Gou had wanted to return to his true nature as a two-update beast: two thousand words per update, two updates a day, less than half his current workload. That would have been absurdly easy.
But that time, Tu Gou heard a reader say in the group, "Gouzi, you have so many favorites, but too few votes. Why not ask for some votes?"
So he asked for votes.
After that, everyone was incredibly supportive, and they charged into the top fifty!
That was the first time Tu Gou had made a single chapter to ask for votes!
And then he embarked on this no-return road of explosive updates, surpassing friends who had gone premium around the same time by over a million words. Keep in mind, it had only been a little over seven months since going premium...
Last month, he promised everyone ten thousand words a day. Now it was the 18th, and he had written 170,000 words, not quite 180,000. He would make up the difference over the next few days.
So, please vote!
Top fifty was enough. Just for this month. Please let him continue updating ten thousand words a day next month!
Next month, he would not ask anymore!!!
Just this month—please help him one more time!
A thousand thanks!
