What was a hero?
Sebas walked through the blood-dried streets of the city, his head lowered in thought.
Over this period, he had read quite a few Tales of Heroes and legends that recorded the deeds of heroes. Yet he still did not quite understand what a "hero" truly was.
Saving others?
Doing good deeds?
Sebas felt that was far too narrow a definition. If he had to describe it, it was probably a kind of spirit—assuming heroes truly existed.
Then that hero had to be his creator, Supreme Being Touch Me!
There was no doubt about it!
"Are you considering Lord Ainz's plan?" Solution asked respectfully, half a step behind him with her hands folded over her abdomen.
"Solution, do you think I can properly disguise myself as a 'human hero'?"
Sebas came back to himself and looked toward the many human slaves lining the streets, their faces blank with fear. His voice was calm, but it carried a trace of hesitation.
Because they had uncovered clues about a World Item, the originally slow-moving, safety-first plan had been adjusted.
"Of course, Lord Sebas."
Solution nodded without hesitation and spoke as if it were only natural. "Lord Ainz entrusted such an important mission to you because he believes Lord Sebas can accomplish it."
"This subordinate believes that perhaps Lord Ainz had already anticipated this outcome from the very beginning, when he sent us here." By the end, Solution's tone was filled with reverence.
"That is true."
Sebas nodded and said softly, "Lord Ainz's wisdom exceeds our shallow understanding."
