[Sage Church]

This was the largest religious organization within the Minotaur Nation, and one of the Empire's three major powers.

The other two were the lofty Royal Family and the Seven Military Fief Nobles, who occupied sixty percent of the nation's land and were scattered throughout the country.

The church's headquarters was not in the Royal Capital!

This was to prevent unnecessary conflicts with the Royal Family and other political repercussions. The city where it was located lay in the northern part of the nation.

It was called Taur Holy City.

The entire city was steeped in a strong religious style. Even Minotaur architecture, known for its rough, old-fashioned appearance and lack of aesthetic appeal, was mostly painted and decorated white on the outside.

From above, it looked like a white city. The closer one got to the Core Area, the more the rooftops resembled hemispheres.

According to the Minotaur Sage, this was called an "Onion Dome." Although no one knew what an "onion" was, the church's high priests guessed it was a description of a sacred architectural style.

Two hundred years ago, this place had been nothing but wasteland!

The city had been built here because the Minotaur Sage had descended upon this place.

There was also a secret rumor that beneath the Great Cathedral in the Core Area of the holy city lay a vast and mysterious labyrinth, though few believed the tale.
