What an eye-opener!

Ainz walked along the street toward the harbor with Entoma, and the many differently shaped Beastmen that came into view left him somewhat excited.

"The Beastman Federation really is prosperous."

"I wonder whether Beastmen with such different appearances communicate differently, or whether they are hostile toward one another, with things like racial discrimination."

Ainz observed his surroundings with great interest. "Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an organization like the Adventurer's Guild. Though I heard there are organizations similar to mercenary groups."

"In the human nations in the northwestern corner of the continent, the Adventurer's Guild mainly exists to deal with monsters. The Beastman Federation should have something like that too—"

"Hmm, I suppose they can't be compared."

Ainz fell into thought, realizing that Beastmen as individuals were generally stronger than humans. Ordinary monster attacks simply did not require hired adventurers.

"This is probably what they mean by different soil bearing different fruit." Ainz raised his palm and tapped it against his fist, producing a crisp clash of armor.

"Lord Fei Fei, what happened?"

Entoma immediately went on guard and hurriedly asked. The eyes on her spider-like face narrowed. "Where is the enemy?"

After all, this was a nation not yet ruled by Nazarick, filled with unknown dangers.

"There are no enemies, Entoma."

Ainz noticed the puzzled looks cast their way because of Entoma's alert posture and quickly waved his hand. "I merely resolved a question in my mind just now. Our current identities are travelers from a distant land, and drawing too much attention is not a good thing."

Ainz sighed inwardly. If it had been Narberal, this problem would not have occurred. Entoma still lacked knowledge of adventurers.
