Chapter Summaries

As Malekith attacked Asgard to reclaim the Aether, Frigga sheltered Jane and Li Feng in her bedchamber and confronted him. Malekith’s fake-Jane ruse failed, and after Frigga was fatally wounded, Li Feng rushed to revive her with the Eternal Spring.

• Li Feng studied Divine Power body-tempering methods but realized his human body could not safely use foreign Divine Power.
• Malekith prepared his fleet to attack Asgard while Thor explained the Convergence of the Nine Realms to Jane and introduced her to Frigga.
• After a disturbance at the prison drew Thor away, Frigga took Jane and Li Feng to her bedchamber and hid them in the Mirror Dimension while making a fake Jane.
• Malekith entered the bedchamber, fought Frigga, and had the Cursed Warrior seize her before discovering that the Jane before him was a fake.
• Malekith ordered the Cursed Warrior to kill Frigga, but lightning struck him, and Li Feng emerged from the Mirror Dimension to give Frigga the Eternal Spring.

Li Feng struggled to keep Frigga alive after a Cursed Warrior’s attack, then used Angel Blood to help Thor’s researchers discover a way to save her. With Frigga suspended in a Time Stop Spell, Li Feng asked Thor to let him use the Bifrost route to Xandar, claiming he wanted to escape Earth’s surveillance.

• Thor told Odin he intended to take Jane to the Dark World so Malekith would remove the Aether, but Odin refused to approve the plan.

Thor enlisted Loki to help him reach the Dark World and confront Malekith, while Li Feng reluctantly helped the group travel through Asgard and the spatial passage. The others went ahead to face Malekith, leaving Li Feng alone in Svartalfheim to study the Personal Space spell.

• An agent’s phone rang despite being in airplane mode, and Stark used the call to ask Li Feng to open a Portal for him and Steve.
• Stark and Steve joined the group, and Stark inspected Li Feng’s Uru Metal armor before Malekith led the Dark Elves off their warship.
• Li Feng mocked Malekith with a parking violation, then redirected an Aether spike through a Portal as Thor and the Asgardians attacked.
• Li Feng’s Spirit Fire struck the Dark Elf warship and set it ablaze, prompting Malekith to break away from Thor and charge at him.
• Thor pursued Malekith, but a spatial passage teleported them to another planet; after they briefly reappeared, they vanished again.

• Li Feng offered to help Scarface defeat Berwyn in exchange for some of her blood, and she landed with him to face the knight.
• Li Feng transformed Berwyn into a sheep, then changed him back after he agreed to answer questions and leave Scarface alone.

Li Feng questioned a Dragon about Merlin, then fought Berwyn after the knight attacked him. As the Dragon and Scarface watched, the Dragon revealed its old bond with Berwyn and regretted giving half its heart to Einon.
