A little earlier, in a dense forest outside Konoha, two figures, one large and one small, fell out of thin air.

The larger one was tall but missing an arm. One of his eyes was an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, while the other was a Six Tomoe Rinnegan. The smaller one was blond and blue-eyed, with fox-whisker-like markings on his face similar to Naruto's.
