Scribe tracked Muzan to Asakusa but found him disguised as Tsukihiko with Rei and Wakana, then let him escape without alerting the family. Muzan killed three people in an alley and summoned two followers to delay Scribe.

Scribe killed a demon by throwing it into the sunlight, then found the injured Kiyoshiro and searched for Tanjiro and the others. The story shifted to Zenitsu, who fled from a four-eyed demon and hid behind a door that was quickly cut apart.

At the mountain, they found a Demon Slayer whose swollen corpse exploded, confirming Scribe’s suspicion that a dangerous demon was active there.

Scribe and the others entered Mount Natagumo, where a terrified Murata warned them that Demon Slayers were attacking one another. They discovered that invisible spider silk controlled the swordsmen and made their corpses explode, leaving Tanjiro and the others shaken as they continued into the mountain.

  • Zenitsu hesitated at the mountain’s edge, then overcame his fear and ran after Scribe and the others.
  • Scribe’s group found Murata, who explained that the Demon Slayers sent to Mount Natagumo had begun attacking their comrades.
