Ch. 341A Traitor Among the Hidden

Scribe, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Uichirou, and the Kakushi prepared to travel to the secluded Swordsmith Village. After a late-arriving Kakushi joined them, the group realized there were four guides for the four travelers, but the chapter ended as the lead Kakushi noticed something was wrong.

  • Mitsuri left with a Kakushi, and Scribe later learned Tanjiro and Nezuko had received permission to visit the Swordsmith Village.
  • Scribe, Tanjiro, and Nezuko waited for their guide and met Uichirou, Muichiro's older brother, who was also traveling to the village.
  • Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Uichirou covered their eyes and ears and blocked Tanjiro's nose to protect the village's location.
  • A young Kakushi arrived late to guide Scribe, apologizing repeatedly as the others prepared to depart.
  • The lead Kakushi noticed that four Kakushi had arrived, each apparently assigned to carry one of the four travelers.

Ch. 342The Brain-Eating Demon

Scribe traveled with Kakushi member Saito to escort him to the next location, but discovered that Saito was a demon using a stolen body. The demon revealed that its brain had been replaced by a tentacled creature, while Scribe tried to understand how it could move in sunlight.

  • Scribe agreed to travel with the young Kakushi member and have him follow along as his guide.
  • Scribe and Saito chatted on the route, and Saito spoke admiringly of Scribe and regretted being unable to fight demons.
  • Scribe seized Saito by the throat and killed him after noticing that he had introduced himself by name and smelled of blood.
  • The demon impersonating Saito reappeared, explained that it had taken Saito's body, and healed its broken neck.
  • Scribe noticed a line around the demon's skull and inferred that its brain was involved in its ability to move in sunlight.
  • The demon opened its skull and revealed a pale, tentacled creature where Saito's brain should have been.

Ch. 343The True Body

Scribe fought and seemingly killed Brain Eater’s clone after the demon tried to take over his body. Far away, Brain Eater learned that Number 013 had been lost and continued his research for the Shinri Family, demanding more human test subjects.

  • Scribe identified Brain Eater’s true body and attacked it, but Brain Eater used a sonic blast and venomous tentacles to immobilize him.
  • Scribe tricked Brain Eater with an illusion, then slashed Saito’s body into pieces and burned the remains to ashes.
  • A much larger Brain Eater in a medical facility learned that Number 013 had lost contact and suspected someone traveling with the clone had attacked it.
  • The newcomer told Brain Eater to focus on researching two captured subjects, and Brain Eater said the work was nearly complete but required more materials.
  • The newcomer agreed to provide prisoners, civilians, or foreign visitors, and Brain Eater ordered him to make preparations.

Ch. 344Mitsuri: Want to Soak in the Hot Springs Together? / Shinazugawa Genya

Scribe reached Swordsmith Village and warned its chief, Tetsukawara Tessen, that Brain Eater might have infiltrated the swordsmiths. After arranging an investigation, Scribe ran into Kanroji Mitsuri, who invited him to soak in the hot springs together, and they arrived at the spring.

  • Scribe sent Black Feather to deliver Yaozai a report about Brain Eater and urge an investigation of the Demon Slayer Corps.
  • Scribe arrived at Swordsmith Village and told Tetsukawara Tessen that Brain Eater might be hiding among the swordsmiths.
  • Scribe explained how to spot signs of Brain Eater and agreed to stay nearby while Tessen organized examinations.
  • Scribe headed toward the mountain hot spring and met Kanroji Mitsuri, who eagerly invited him to join her.
  • Scribe accepted Mitsuri's invitation, and they reached the large hot spring together.

Ch. 345The Shy Yuichiro

Scribe and Mitsuri relaxed together in a hot spring, where Mitsuri voiced her worries about the changing fight against Muzan before their conversation turned cheerful. On the way down the mountain, they encountered Genya Shinazugawa, whom Scribe recognized and greeted.

  • Mitsuri asked Scribe when they would achieve victory and said recent changes had made the future hard to understand.
  • Scribe teased Mitsuri out of her worries, and they chatted about food, sword techniques, and strange stories while soaking.
  • After they left the hot spring, Scribe reassured Mitsuri that she was beautiful and invited her to walk arm in arm with him.
  • Mitsuri spotted Genya Shinazugawa climbing the mountain and noticed that he was trying to pull something from his mouth.
  • Scribe approached Genya and greeted him, and Genya recognized him as Mister Scribe.

Ch. 346Kanroji Mitsuri Confesses Her Love

Mister Scribe reunited with Genya and spent the day with Mitsuri, Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Uichirou at Swordsmith Village. After helping ease tensions among the group, he heard Tanjiro reaffirm his resolve to protect people and asked Mitsuri why she had joined the Demon Slayer Corps.

  • Genya greeted Mister Scribe warmly but dismissed Mitsuri when she introduced herself, and Mister Scribe comforted her after Genya failed to recognize her as a Hashira.
  • Mister Scribe took Mitsuri down the mountain, where they found Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Uichirou arguing over whether Nezuko could join them in the hot springs.
  • Mister Scribe left the three to settle the hot-spring dispute, then watched them continue bickering through dinner.
  • Mister Scribe suggested a walk under the moon and stars, and his mediation helped Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Uichirou ease their tensions.
  • Uichirou asked why Tanjiro had joined the Corps, and Tanjiro said he wanted to protect people from Muzan and demons.
  • Tanjiro vowed to train harder and defeat Muzan, and Mister Scribe asked Mitsuri why she had joined the Corps.

Ch. 347The Upper Rank Three, Four, Five, and Six Plot in Secret

Kanroji Mitsuri confessed her admiration for Scribe, then learned he was already married and left for the sword workshop. Scribe sent Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Uichirou to train while Upper Rank demons gathered in the mountains to plan an attack on the swordsmith village.

  • Kanroji Mitsuri told Scribe she hoped to find a husband like him, then learned from Scribe and Tanjiro that he was already married.
  • Mitsuri cried after discovering she had been the only Hashira unaware of Scribe’s marriage, then left when a Kakushi summoned her to the workshop for her sword’s final adjustments.
  • Scribe assigned Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Uichirou to a training mission to find a secret weapon in the village.
  • Shinri Masato, Hantengu, Gyokko, Kamihito Ichi, Imamura, Dichai, and other demons gathered in the mountains to discuss attacking the swordsmith village.
  • Kamihito Ichi began drawing a plan of the village after the demons argued over how to attack.

Ch. 348Newcomer Arrives!

Kamihito Ichi assigned the demons their roles in the planned attack on Swordsmith Village, while Gyokko, Hantengu, and Shinri Masato accepted their tasks. The next morning, Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Uichirou set out to find the secret weapon and came upon Scribe and Muiichiro.

  • Kamihito Ichi warned the demons that Hashira and Scribe might interfere with their raid, but Gyokko and the others dismissed the concern.
  • Kamihito Ichi sent Gyokko to hunt swordsmiths near the hot spring and assigned Hantengu to enter the village and hunt Demon Slayers.
  • Kamihito Ichi gave Shinri Masato freedom to move wherever battles broke out and told the remaining demons to act on their own.
  • Kamihito Ichi rallied the demons to kill swordsmen, slaughter swordsmiths, and burn the village as they set out for Swordsmith Village.
  • The next morning, Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Uichirou began their treasure hunt and spotted Scribe, a black-haired child, and Muiichiro in the forest.
  • Uichirou was shocked to see his younger brother Muiichiro standing before him.

Ch. 349Training Begins (Don’t Read—Work in Progress) / Defeating Yuichiro

Uichirou arrived to find Muiichiro exhausted from training with Mister Scribe, then took his place and faced him in a wooden-sword fight. Mister Scribe knocked Uichirou down and kicked at him as Uichirou curled up to defend himself.

  • Uichirou found Muiichiro struggling to stand and learned he was exhausted from Mister Scribe's training.
  • Mister Scribe arranged for Tanjiro and Nezuko to train against Yoriichi Zero Type, a six-armed mechanical doll modeled after a historical swordsman.
  • Ginza the Kasugai Crow confronted Mister Scribe over his treatment of Muiichiro, and he seized her as she tried to fly away.
  • Mister Scribe challenged Uichirou, who charged in hoping to end the fight quickly.
  • Mister Scribe anticipated Uichirou's attack, struck him down with a wooden sword, and kicked toward his abdomen as Uichirou curled up to guard himself.

Ch. 350Tanjiro on the Brink of Death

Scribe defeated Uichirou and set Tanjiro to train against Yoriichi Zero Type, where Tanjiro nearly died before Scribe rescued him. Kotetsu and Scribe decided to put Tanjiro through harsh deprivation training, leaving him about to object.

  • Scribe kicked Uichirou into a tree with his thrown wooden sword, and Uichirou emerged injured but grateful for what he had learned.
  • Scribe invited Tanjiro and Nezuko to train, then directed them to Yoriichi Zero Type and warned Tanjiro he might not withstand one move.
  • Yoriichi Zero Type overwhelmed Tanjiro, and Scribe pulled him away just before its blade reached his neck.
  • Scribe had Kotetsu weaken the mechanical doll for Tanjiro, while Kotetsu criticized Tanjiro for waiting to react to opponents.
  • Kotetsu proposed denying Tanjiro food and water until he changed his habits, and Scribe agreed while allowing Nezuko to continue her routine.

Ch. 351A Sword from Three Hundred Years Ago

Scribe put Tanjiro through five days of brutal training with Yoriichi Zero Type, leaving him exhausted and unconscious before replacing its clubs with real swords. Guided by Scribe’s voice and a strange scent in his dream, Tanjiro awoke and destroyed the training doll, then asked Scribe if he had succeeded.

  • Scribe forced Tanjiro to endure five days of punishing training against Yoriichi Zero Type while denying him food, water, and rest.
  • Tanjiro collapsed, and Scribe ordered Kotetsu to replace the doll’s clubs with six sharp swords and continue the training.
  • Nezuko tried to stop Kotetsu, but Scribe knocked her unconscious and placed her beneath a tree.
  • While unconscious, Tanjiro dreamed of finding a glowing stone and heard a familiar voice urging him to wake up.
  • Scribe called to Tanjiro and told him to use his sense of smell to find the right moment to strike.
  • Tanjiro awoke and struck Yoriichi Zero Type before its swords could reach him, breaking its neck and collapsing in pain.

Ch. 352Foolish Haganezuka

Tanjiro and the others discovered a rusted sword hidden inside Yoriichi Zero Type, and Kotetsu gave it to Tanjiro in exchange for a promise to insult two brothers once he grew stronger. Haganezuka arrived to polish the sword, and Tetsuana Mori explained that he had been training to forge better swords for Tanjiro before Scribe revealed Tanjiro had simply lost his previous one.

  • Yoriichi Zero Type shattered after Tanjiro's final strike, revealing a sword concealed inside its body.
  • Scribe offered the sword to Tanjiro, but Tanjiro said Kotetsu should have it, so Kotetsu gave it to him in exchange for humiliating two brothers when he became stronger.
  • Scribe drew the sword and showed Tanjiro, Kotetsu, and Nezuko that its blade was heavily rusted.
  • Haganezuka arrived, took the sword, and refused to let Tanjiro, Kotetsu, and Nezuko take it back.
  • Tetsuana Mori tickled Haganezuka until he fell, then explained that Haganezuka had gone into the mountains to train so he could forge a better sword for Tanjiro.
  • Scribe clarified that Tanjiro had lost his sword rather than broken it, leaving Tetsuana Mori stunned as Haganezuka got back up.

Ch. 353Tetsutaro Goes Missing

Scribe screened the Swordsmith Village smiths for suspicious signs but discovered that Tetsutaro was missing and that nobody could identify his supposed sick mother. He hurried to investigate as the sun began to set, while Tessen realized Tetsutaro might never have existed at all.

  • After Tanjiro and the others returned from training, Tanjiro’s talk and his saved tooth irritated Genya, while Scribe watched them and worried that the time for something to happen had arrived.
  • Tessen told Scribe that more than ninety percent of the swordsmiths had gathered, and Scribe arranged for the village smiths to undergo examinations.
  • Scribe secretly assessed each examinee with the doctor, and the village swordsmiths all passed inspection.
  • Scribe found Tetsutaro listed as not found among the smiths still away from the village and told the doctor to keep it secret.
  • Tessen explained that Tetsutaro had claimed to be visiting his seriously ill mother, but could not remember the mother’s name or where she lived.
  • Scribe left to investigate as the sun sank, and Tessen wondered whether he would make it in time.

Ch. 354An Unexpected Third Party / Hantengu: This Is a High-Level Match

Scribe warned Tessen that demons were approaching, prompting Tessen to gather the swordsmiths and stationed swordsmen at his home. As the demons began their attack on the village, Tetsutaro led Dichai and the others toward Tessen’s house, while another demon encountered a powerful, unidentified figure.

  • Scribe warned Tessen that the demons were about to arrive, and Tessen ordered the swordsmiths to gather at his home before sunset.

Hantengu entered a room occupied by Tanjiro, Nezuko, Kanroji Mitsuri, Tokito Muichiro, and Uichirou, realized how strong they were, and faced a dangerous fight.

  • An unknown man smashed Leopard Demon's claws and repeatedly beat him until he could no longer resist, then left to find another opponent.
  • Gyokko complained that he could not find any swordsmiths on Hot Spring Mountain and hid inside his pot when Scribe came to investigate it.
  • Tokito Muichiro woke Tanjiro and asked whether he knew the swordsmith Tetsuana Mori, and Tanjiro said Mori should be with Haganezuka.
  • Hantengu crawled into Tanjiro's room and sensed that Tokito Muichiro, Uichirou, and Kanroji Mitsuri were at Hashira level, while Tanjiro and Nezuko also posed a threat.

Ch. 356Report! Someone Is Selling Out Their Teammate!

Tanjiro, Nezuko, the Tokito brothers, and Mitsuri attacked Hantengu, who split into two demons after being decapitated. Elsewhere, Scribe confronted Gyokko and cut apart his pots, but Gyokko fought back with his Blood Demon Art.

  • Hantengu's head and body transformed into two separate demons as the group prepared to face them.
  • Gyokko tried to drag Scribe into his pot, but Scribe dismissed the pot and Gyokko emerged in anger.
  • Gyokko recognized Scribe and tried to escape through his pots, but Scribe sliced them apart and wounded him.
  • Gyokko used Blood Demon Art: Muscle Goldfish and dove into a pot as a gigantic arm reached out.

  • Tanjiro and Nezuko faced two demons resembling Hantengu inside the house.

Ch. 358Urogi and Aizetsu

Genya Shinazugawa attacked Jikan and Karaku with his firearm and blade, but their decapitation caused them to split into four demons. Tanjiro was seized by Urogi as Aizetsu pinned Genya, and the chapter left Tanjiro falling after he cut off Urogi’s foot and took a weakened blast to the face.

  • Jikan struck the floor with his tin staff, sending lightning through Tanjiro and Nezuko and leaving them nearly unconscious.
