Ch. 361Eighteen Demons Slain in Rage / The Real Upper Rank Six

Scribe attacked Dichai and eighteen demons at Swordsmith Village after they failed to find more swordsmiths. He cut them all down, but Dichai’s remains did not turn to ash, leaving Scribe to suspect that the demon was still alive.

  • Dichai ordered his demons to prepare to leave after learning they could not find more swordsmiths, and he realized his two sentries had been killed.
  • Scribe broke into Dichai’s hideout and confronted the demons, refusing Dichai’s offer to reveal Hakuji’s fate in exchange for their escape.
  • Scribe revealed that he had inferred Hakuji became Akaza, the former Upper Rank Three, then killed Dichai and the other seventeen demons with one strike.
  • Scribe saw that the demons’ flesh and blood had not turned to ash, and he realized Dichai might still be alive.

Ch. 362Resurrection

Scribe discovered that Dichai could resurrect by absorbing the demons he had created, killed one incarnation, and learned the name of his Blood Demon Art. Elsewhere, Tokito Ichiro struggled to break through Imamura’s stalling tactics while trying to reach his endangered allies.

  • Scribe realized that Dichai’s demons were avatars and that Dichai could revive as long as any of them survived.
  • Dichai emerged from the fused flesh stronger than before and offered Scribe a place among the demons, but Scribe refused.
  • Dichai challenged Scribe to kill him, revealed his Blood Demon Art was called Blood Progeny, and turned to ash when Scribe beheaded him.
  • Scribe received another increase in mission progress but concluded Dichai would remain difficult to kill unless his final life or Muzan was destroyed.
  • Tokito Ichiro fought Imamura, who used his strength and healing to keep him from reaching Tanjiro and the others.

Ch. 363Di Cai’s Strength

Uichirou faced Imamura until Imamura was taken over and killed by Dichai, who revealed himself as another Upper Rank Six and attacked Uichirou. Meanwhile, Tanjiro discovered that splitting Urogi’s head weakened its attacks and prepared to warn the others.

  • Uichirou prepared to fight Imamura despite his injuries, but Imamura suddenly collapsed and pleaded with an unseen master.
  • Dichai took control of Imamura’s body, then destroyed its head and regenerated with his own face.
  • Dichai introduced himself to Uichirou as Upper Rank Six and demonstrated that he could use Imamura’s Blood Demon Art.
  • Dichai lunged at Uichirou with his transformed claws.
  • Tanjiro endured Urogi’s split light-sphere attack, realized the divided form was weaker, and decided to tell the others.

Ch. 364The Unknown Man

Tanjiro wounded Urogi and destroyed him by piercing the demon’s gathered sound attack, while Genya fought Aizetsu and Jikan. Genya briefly gained the upper hand, but Jikan struck him with lightning, leaving him to aim his gun at Jikan.

  • Urogi struck Tanjiro with sound waves and slashed his chest, but Tanjiro wounded Urogi with his Nichirin Blade.
  • Tanjiro baited Urogi into gathering another ball of light, then pierced it and caused an explosion that destroyed Urogi and knocked Tanjiro unconscious.
  • Jikan ordered Aizetsu to finish Genya, but Genya held Aizetsu in place and shot him six times in the face.
  • Aizetsu regenerated and twisted his spear inside Genya, but Genya blocked Aizetsu’s next strike and attacked him from behind.
  • Jikan summoned lightning that struck Genya, who then aimed his gun at Jikan.

Ch. 365Hirano’s Tragedy

Scribe encountered Hirano, a survivor investigating the village on behalf of Crown Prince Ayu, and discovered he had taken a fallen Demon Slayer’s Nichirin Blade as evidence. Scribe drove Hirano away and resolved to discuss moving the swordsmiths with Ubuyashiki Kagaya, while Nezuko remained in danger elsewhere.

  • Genya Shinazugawa charged Jikan, but Aizetsu struck him with a spear and sent him crashing into another room.
  • Karaku turned his attention from Nezuko and prepared to blow her away with his fan.
  • Scribe rescued Hirano from a demon, then seized him when he recognized the Nichirin Blade and severed hand in Hirano’s bundle.
  • Hirano revealed that he worked for Crown Prince Ayu and that the rest of his group had been killed while investigating the village.
  • Scribe decided the swordsmiths had to leave and planned to discuss it with Ubuyashiki Kagaya, then kicked Hirano away from the blade.

Ch. 366Eating Hearts, Breaking Promises

Scribe spared Hirano after taking back the stolen bundle, but Hirano encountered the Brain Eater as he fled. Dichai spared the badly wounded Uichirou and met Kamihito Ichi in Imamura’s body, leaving Imamura’s fate unclear.

  • Scribe took the bundle from Hirano and let him flee, while deciding the injured man would not survive the village.
  • Hirano considered returning to kill Scribe, but the Brain Eater found him and attacked.
  • Uichirou fought Dichai, cutting off his forearm, but collapsed from exhaustion as Dichai chose to retreat rather than risk Scribe arriving.
  • Scribe reached Uichirou after Dichai fled into the forest.
  • Dichai met the grievously wounded Kamihito Ichi and explained that he had survived a Rank-Swap Blood Battle against an even stronger opponent.
  • Dichai told Kamihito Ichi to remove the barrier and promised to take him along, while Kamihito Ichi noticed Dichai was using Imamura’s scaled body.

Ch. 367The Battlefield Takes a Turn for the Worse

Dichai killed Kamihito Ichi and left to pursue other targets, while Tanjiro fought Urogi and worked his way back to the house. Tanjiro broke through to help Nezuko, but Genya Shinazugawa called out before he could leave with her.

  • Dichai revealed he had eaten Imamura, killed Kamihito Ichi, and headed toward other demons he considered side dishes.
  • Mister Scribe arrived after Dichai had left and set off in pursuit.
  • Tanjiro repeatedly let Urogi ram him, using their momentum to steer the fight back toward the house.
  • Tanjiro pierced Urogi with a thrust, drove him through the house wall, and found Nezuko being struck by Jikan's lightning staff.
  • Tanjiro blocked Jikan's staff with Urogi's foot, slashed Jikan, and knocked the staff away from Nezuko.
  • As Tanjiro prepared to leave with Nezuko, Genya Shinazugawa shouted to him.

Ch. 368The Librarian Saves the Day / The Samurai Reappear (4,000 Words)

Scribe rescued the unconscious Tanjiro, Genya Shinazugawa, and the girl by killing Hantengu’s four clones, while Hantengu’s main body escaped. Scribe chose not to pursue the Cowardly Demon and checked the injured slayers, finding their wounds were not life-threatening.

  • Karaku repeatedly smashed Tanjiro, Genya Shinazugawa, and the girl through the house with Wind Pressure until they lost consciousness.
  • Scribe appeared with Urogi’s severed head and killed Karaku with a single slash after cutting through his Wind Pressure.
  • Jikan and Aizetsu attacked Scribe, but he killed them, leaving all four of Hantengu’s clones dead.
  • Scribe realized Hantengu’s main body had escaped into the forest and decided not to search for him.
  • Scribe examined Tanjiro and the others and found that their injuries were serious-looking but not life-threatening.

Ch. 369Gyokko Stalling for Time

Scribe discovered evidence that samurai and demons had attacked the forest, while Hantengu fed on the slain samurai. Muiichiro rescued Kotetsu and Tetsuana Mori, recovered his Nichirin Blade, and learned Mori had gone out to protect Haganezuka Hotaru.

  • Scribe found a blood-soaked note describing samurai and demons attacking near Swordsmith Village, and suspected the village’s secrecy was about to be exposed.
  • Hantengu ate a group of slain samurai at a forest campsite as other demons gathered, and a demon reported that they had killed few swordsmiths or Demon Slayers.
  • Muiichiro beheaded a Muscle Goldfish and reunited Kotetsu with Tetsuana Mori.
  • Tetsuana Mori gave Muiichiro his Nichirin Blade, which he had carried for self-defense.
  • Tetsuana Mori remembered that he had lured the Muscle Goldfish away from Haganezuka Hotaru to protect him, and urged Kotetsu and Muiichiro to come with him.

Ch. 370A Bloody Night

Muiichiro confronted Upper Moon Five Gyokko outside the wooden house and realized Gyokko was stalling until his injuries healed. Elsewhere, Hantengu fled into the forest and split into four forms after recovering.

  • Gyokko stalled for time while he digested human flesh and recovered from injuries sustained in his fight with Scribe.
  • Muiichiro saw through Gyokko's delay, attacked him, and learned that Gyokko could move between pots.
  • Gyokko recovered fully, escaped Muiichiro's strikes through his pots, and prepared to fight after Muiichiro repeatedly destroyed them.
  • Hantengu told the other demons to flee from Scribe, then dragged a machete into the forest and split into four forms.
  • Urogi mocked Jikan for having been killed once, and another demon said he was happy that they had all died once.

Ch. 371Inawa and Guang Ren

The Scribe assessed the danger still facing the Demon Slayer Corps while Hyakuya Inowa and Shinri Kōjin hid with a battered group of samurai. Inowa explained why he had protected Kōjin, but Kōjin demanded another reason as they remained surrounded by danger.

  • Jikan electrocuted a demon who questioned him, and Karaku kicked the fallen demon while the newly arrived demons kept their distance.
  • The Scribe noted that dawn was still far off and that Gyokko, Hantengu, Shinri Masato, and other demons remained threats.
  • Hyakuya Inowa and Shinri Kōjin regrouped with wounded samurai after their family groups were scattered by demon attacks.
  • Inowa warned Kōjin that the exhausted group was close to collapsing and promised to protect him if danger arose.
  • Kōjin asked why Inowa had saved him, and Inowa said that humans should help one another against man-eating demons.
  • Kōjin rejected Inowa’s explanation as insufficient, and Inowa offered to give him another reason.

Ch. 372The Collapsing Samurai Team

Hyakuya Inowa called Shinri Kōjin his friend just as a group of demons attacked their samurai squad. Inowa urged Kōjin to flee, but the defenses collapsed, leaving Kōjin surrounded and facing a demon alone.

  • Inowa told Kōjin that friends should help each other, and Kōjin was stunned to learn Inowa considered him a friend.
  • A massive demon and a whip-wielding Female Demon attacked the samurai, knocking several unconscious.
  • Inowa told Kōjin to escape while he held off the demons, reminding him that their training and his dream mattered more than dying there.

  • Kōjin stopped running and raised his Katana at a demon as Inowa called for him to run.

Ch. 373Mitsuri Returns / The Demon in the Shadows

  • Mitsuri rushed toward the village after encountering demons and finding corpses that suggested a group had invaded with a plan.
  • Mitsuri arrived as the Mother and Child Demon attacked Inowa and joined the other demons in targeting her.
  • Mitsuri used Love Breathing to evade the demons and cut them down, while their greed for her strength sparked infighting.
  • Mitsuhito considered recruiting Mitsuri into the Shinri Family, while Inowa vowed to become strong like her.
  • Mitsuri beheaded the remaining demons, then asked Inowa and Mitsuhito whether they were hurt.

Ch. 374The Swordsmith’s Heavy Losses

Mitsuri left the surviving samurai and returned to the village, while Ubuyashiki Kagaya learned that the Demon Slayer Corps might be exposed after the attack. The demons led by Jikan watched Mitsuri as the attack on the swordsmith village continued, leaving the village chief's fate uncertain.

  • Hikaru tried to learn Mitsuri's name so the Shinri Family could track her down, but she refused and left him and Inowa with the surviving samurai.
  • Hikaru and Inowa gathered several lightly wounded survivors and departed after Hikaru secretly told them something that made them revere him.
  • Ubuyashiki Kagaya read Mitsuri's crow's report and feared that the battle could expose the Demon Slayer Corps and its intelligence network.
  • Mitsuri returned to the village to answer cries for help, while Jikan and his demons hid nearby and watched her.
  • The demons and Gyokko's Muscle Goldfish attacked the swordsmith village, forcing the swordsmiths to flee as young fighters stayed behind to defend them.
  • A Muscle Goldfish killed the swordsmith ringing the alarm, and the fleeing swordsmiths realized the village chief was missing and called for a rescue.

Ch. 375The Demon Slayer Corps’ Reinforcements

Kanroji Mitsuri rescued the swordsmiths from the Muscle Goldfish and tried to learn why demons had been ordered to capture them, but the injured demon mysteriously exploded before it could explain. After Mitsuri left to protect the older swordsmiths, Jikan’s group arrived and ordered the young swordsmiths captured alive.

  • Muscle Goldfish overwhelmed the swordsmiths, injuring Tetsugoro and threatening to kill several others before Kanroji Mitsuri arrived and defeated them.
  • Mitsuri questioned a dying demon about the order to capture skilled swordsmiths, but it exploded before revealing the reason.
  • Mitsuri decided to tell Scribe about the demon’s sudden death and rushed to aid the middle-aged and elderly swordsmiths.
  • After Mitsuri left, Jikan and the other demons confronted the young swordsmiths and ordered them captured alive, threatening to cripple any demon that tried to eat them.

Ch. 376Gyokko’s Ability

Jikan abducted the swordsmiths after paralyzing the demons who had pledged to obey him, while Scribe left the wounded Tanjiro with the support force and set out to help Uichirou. • Jikan tied up the swordsmiths, struck the demons with lightning, and dragged his captives away to find Coward.
  • Tanjiro woke among the support force, learned how badly the village battle had gone, and asked about Uichirou and Mitsuri Kanroji.
  • Scribe stopped Tanjiro from joining the fight, left him in the support force’s care, and went to help Uichirou before seeking Mitsuri.
  • A disguised swordsmith watched Scribe leave, claimed to know where a well was, and sent a female Demon Slayer toward the ruins before slipping into the shadows.
  • Muiichiro and Gyokko’s battle reached its fiercest stage, and Gyokko summoned a patterned pot.

Ch. 377Muichiro’s Crisis / The Librarian Arrives

Muiichiro shielded Tetsuana Mori and Kotetsu from Gyokko’s poisoned needles, then continued fighting despite the poison. Gyokko trapped him in a water prison, leaving him unable to reach the swordsmiths or break free.

  • Gyokko summoned goldfish that sprayed poisoned needles at Muiichiro, then redirected them toward Tetsuana Mori and Kotetsu.
  • Muiichiro took the needles while protecting the two swordsmiths and told them to hide, insisting they were fellow Demon Slayers.
  • Gyokko taunted Muiichiro about the poison and attacked with Blood Demon Art: Blood Prison Pot, trapping him inside a mass of water.
  • Muiichiro’s Mist Breathing attack failed to break through the water prison as Gyokko prepared to go after Tetsuana Mori and Kotetsu.

Ch. 378Gyokko Escapes

Gyokko attacked the swordsmiths’ hut, but Scribe arrived in time to rescue Kotetsu and free Muiichiro from the Blood Prison Pot. Muiichiro remained poisoned and weakened as Scribe told him to wait for reinforcements.

  • Gyokko wounded Tetsuana Mori and attacked Haganezuka while he sharpened a sword, but Haganezuka kept working despite the blows.
  • Gyokko sent a Crab Claw Goldfish after Kotetsu, and Tetsuana Mori held it back so Kotetsu could escape and seek help.

  • Gyokko unleashed Octopus Pot Hell on Scribe, but Scribe emerged unharmed after burning and cutting apart the tentacles.
  • Gyokko fled the house, and Scribe pursued him after learning which direction he had gone.
  • Scribe gained on Gyokko by using a branch’s recoil to propel himself forward, while Gyokko struggled to escape quickly with his pot ability.

Ch. 380The Demon Slayer Who Betrayed Them

Scribe cut down Gyokko’s Slippery Fish attacks and pursued him after Gyokko shed his skin and fled. Gyokko used Divine Hand to create more fish and slow Scribe, but Scribe answered with a powerful new blade attack as the chase continued.

  • Gyokko unleashed Ten Thousand Slippery Fish, but Scribe destroyed them and spun away their poisonous remains.
  • Gyokko recognized Scribe’s technique, decided to report his suspicion to Muzan, and fled; Scribe struck only the skin Gyokko had shed.
  • Gyokko assumed his complete form and ran from Scribe, who learned that Hantengu, Shinri Masato, and Dichai had already fled.
  • Gyokko used Divine Hand to turn trees into Slippery Fish, briefly slowing Scribe and widening the gap between them.
  • Scribe fired a massive arc of blade light toward Gyokko, cutting through trees and rocks along its path.
