"Did you think this made you qualified to challenge me?" Not a single word of Madara's had changed. His voice was as cold as his expression.

"Come on! Fight me properly!" Meng Yiran radiated arrogance as she pointed her Serpent Cane straight at Madara, speaking with high spirits.

"So it's that kid from back then!" Dragon Duke Meng Shu narrowed his eyes, faintly recognizing Madara's former figure. He spoke in surprise.

"Hmph! Just an ignorant junior!" Snake Grandma Chao Tianxiang snorted. "He ought to be taught a lesson!"

"It seems you still don't understand the gap between us!" Madara remained utterly unmoved, as though Meng Yiran's cultivation as a level 32 agility-attack Soul Elder was beneath his notice.

Without another word, Madara summoned his Sharingan martial soul. An aura countless times more powerful than Meng Yiran's spread across the area. Framed by those blood-red pupils, he was a terrifying sight.

"How is that possible? How could you have become so strong?" Meng Yiran stared blankly at his three spirit rings—yellow, yellow, purple—and cried out in disbelief at the overwhelming aura that far surpassed her own.

"Why wouldn't it be possible? I told you long ago about the gap between us!" Madara lifted his chin slightly, looking down on her as though she were an ant. His voice did not waver in the slightest.

"This kid is becoming more and more terrifying!" Madara's frightening display shocked Dragon Duke and Snake Grandma. Meng Shu's eyes snapped wide open as he stared at Madara solemnly and murmured.

"Hmph!" Snake Grandma Chao Tianxiang said nothing further in rebuttal, but she was clearly still deeply displeased with how Madara had treated her precious granddaughter before.

Has the gap between him and me truly grown even wider? I've worked so hard!

Meng Yiran bit her lip
