Background / History
Green was raised within the Armor-Splitting Family and received its knight training from childhood. He and Aaron were selected from many candidates because of their aptitude and ability to endure rigorous training, which also brought them into Romain’s circle at a young age 69.
When Romain was sent to Sigg Town, Green accompanied him as one of his two Battle Knights. He immediately objected to living in Romain’s crude wooden settlement and even attempted to leave for Skeg Town, only for Romain to order that he not return if he departed. Romain tolerates this apparent disloyalty because they grew up together and influenced one another 3.
Romain later recruits Green as an Apostle. Their high Affinity—estimated between 70% and 80%—reflects their long-established bond despite Green’s frequent complaints and resistance to Romain’s methods 7.
Appearance
Green is described as handsome, dashing, and graceful, though his normally carefree manner becomes severe when matters of knightly pride or duty are involved 40 397.
- Often trained and fought as a heavily armed knight with a two-handed greatsword and armor containing extraordinary metals 4 40.
- Later adopts the appearance of a ranger: gaiters, high boots, a cloak, and a Knight Sword wrapped in coarse cloth without a noble crest 400.
- His unmarked ranger attire and striking bearing make commoners wary of him as an unknown armed traveler 400.
Personality
Green is proud, impulsive, and deeply concerned with the dignity of a knight. He initially considers farming, plowing, and other labor beneath a War Knight, and he reacts especially badly when Romain confiscates his greatsword and armor 31 40.
His pride is balanced by genuine loyalty. He repeatedly promises to become Romain’s shield and spear, accepts difficult missions, and continues serving even when he does not understand Romain’s plans 9 56. He is also ambitious to an almost theatrical degree, declaring that he will become the strongest knight in history 198.
Green’s seriousness is often undercut by his competitiveness and appetite. He refuses Romain’s burnt cooking on principle, then later eagerly joins the manor’s barbecue feast while dismissing it as merely “okay” 41 198.
Abilities & Skills
War Knight Combat
Green’s combat style emphasizes speed, agility, and maneuvering rather than direct clashes with heavily armored opponents. Romain identifies the greatsword and heavy armor as restrictions on Green’s natural strengths 40.
- Leapt onto a magical brown bear’s back and stabbed it during the mountain beast attack, then avoided its counterattack 22.
- Pursued the long-feared bandit Borg through the mountains, relying on Dota to compensate for his limited wilderness experience 23.
- Defeated undead Silver Moon Knights in the cursed catacombs, disarming and smashing apart their armored skeletal bodies 397.
- Faced Tier 6 Dawn Knight Keton despite recognizing that he could not win alone; he instead vowed to return with a hundred men if he survived 400.
Ranger and Reconnaissance Work
Following his transition toward a lighter fighting style, Green operates as a Ranger Knight and Special Forces officer.
- Detects danger quickly while traveling, recognizing that he and Lyra are being pursued before the Demon Hunter Knight appears 400.
- Navigates hostile terrain and protects Lyra during their journey to Silver Moon Castle 396.
- Uses Medicine skills taught by Romain and Witch medicinal powder to treat Lyra’s arrow wound in the field 396.
Special Forces Command
Romain job-changes Green into Special Forces and places him over Origin City’s smallest, most elite, and individually strongest unit 330.
- Led the first force to return during the Shayne Territory operation, bringing back more than three thousand people as well as cattle and sheep 331.
- Directed his Special Forces to infiltrate the Lord of Shayne Territory’s castle at night and breach its defenses 331.
- Commanded fifty soldiers alongside Aaron to cut off Baron Crow’s retreat during the Pudong Village battle 138.
- Later receives command of the Silver Moon Knights within the Special Forces Corps 404.
Equipment / Weapons / Items

Trivia
- When Romain proposes assigning code names, Green chooses “Green,” misunderstanding the suggestion as an offer of a formal knightly title 10.
- He once swore he would rather starve than eat Romain’s cooking, but later enthusiastically eats Romain’s barbecue 41 198.
- Romain regards Green as better suited to a light, agile combat role than to conventional heavy armor and greatsword warfare 40.
