Chapter Summaries

Moriarty returned to Slytherin Manor and reunited with Narcissa, where Mrs. Zabini’s attempt to seduce him led him to cut ties with her family. By August, Tonks had returned from Auror training, and Moriarty began indulging in a new fantasy involving Tonks transformed to look like Narcissa.

• Luke told Moriarty that Narcissa was hosting Mrs. Parkinson, Mrs. Nott, Mrs. Greengrass, and Mrs. Zabini at the manor.
• Narcissa welcomed Moriarty home, and Mrs. Zabini tried to win his favor by offering him Alpine hot springs.
