Wu Yang Jin was still keeping Dai Yun'er company in the courtyard he had arranged for her.
The night breeze was slightly cool as it stirred Dai Yun'er's golden hair.
Suddenly, she stood before Wu Yang Jin. She had been smiling slyly just moments ago, but the next instant, her lively eyes reddened slightly.
She was still deeply saddened.
She bit her lower lip, stubbornness and restraint mingling in her eyes.
After a few seconds, she finally could not hold it in any longer and began to sob softly.
"Sixth Brother... I clearly guessed it long ago... but hearing you say it out loud still hurts so much."
Wu Yang Jin watched her silently without interrupting.
"Will the Star Luo Empire... really be caught up in the flames of war once again?" Her voice trembled slightly, and the light in her eyes flickered as though she were holding something back to keep herself from breaking down.
"Back then, I watched Shrek be destroyed with my own eyes... That day, I couldn't help Sixth Brother at all."
Her fingers unconsciously tightened around Wu Yang Jin's sleeve, as if searching for a sliver of security.
"And now, they're going to strike at Star Luo again..." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, suppressing her emotions, but before she could finish speaking, tears still slipped down her face without warning.
"I know I'm the princess of Star Luo. I should be proud, I should be strong... but Sixth Brother, I'm really so scared!"
She suddenly threw herself into Wu Yang Jin's arms and clung tightly to him, her voice trembling.
"What if Father Emperor and the others can't stop the Federation? What if the Star Luo Empire is really destroyed?"
"What am I supposed to do... Where else can I go...?"
