As he burst into laughter, Red Saber swung her greatsword with wild abandon, making Red Assassin click her tongue and shout:
"Saber! Are you trying to betray us?!"
"Are you an idiot?! You're the ones who betrayed me! Didn't you plot to kill my Master before?! From that moment on, you became my enemies!"
Accompanied by that domineering declaration, a slash tracing a wide arc flashed through the chapel. Like a blow meant to draw a boundary, it completely separated Shirou from Ruler. The floor was badly damaged, and countless wood chips and stone fragments immediately filled the air.
The next instant, something seemed to be thrown in from the far end of the chapel. Though the remaining Golems reflexively raised their fists to intercept it, the object appeared to contain some mechanism and instantly released a huge cloud of white smoke that engulfed the entire chapel.
