Roche was utterly bewildered.
"M-Master?"
He truly could not understand. Nothing made sense... and he did not want to understand. Caster grabbed him by the throat, then casually flung him away. He landed against the Golem's chest, and the stone and mud that melted the instant they touched him immediately sealed off his movements. He could only feel himself being absorbed deeper and deeper into the Golem... yet he still understood nothing!
"Um, Master, wh-what is this...?"
"Don't you understand yet, Master? At this point, surely you should realize that you are the 'Core Reactor.'"
Caster, whom he had revered from the bottom of his heart, said it as though it were nothing. If he could say it so casually, then surely it was not such a serious matter.
Nothing worth mentioning, nothing important, no big deal, merely something utterly trivial... No!
