Loki would return to Jotunheim, reveal Loki's true identity, and have Loki inherit the throne of Jotunheim.
Once Loki became the king of Jotunheim and Thor became the king of Asgard, the two brothers could work together and bring true peace to Jotunheim and Asgard.
