Full Retreat
"I trust your judgment."
A blue signal flare shot into the sky. Blue flares signified retreat. The soldiers guarding the edge of the forest seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, including Armin. Yet Lin Yan, perched on a branch somewhere in the forest, curled his lips into a smile.

It was far from over.
"All personnel, retreat."
"What? It's ending this quickly?" Jean was even somewhat puzzled. He had thought the massive Titan assault would lead to a fierce battle, but instead, the order they received was to retreat. It was hard not to wonder why.
"We can finally go back. That's great."
Connie was so delighted that he nearly cried.
