The enormous body was already visible within their field of vision, and the scorching heat made the air around it shimmer.

Soldiers gave speeches in every area, doing everything they could to persuade all the civilians to cooperate.

Although most people quietly listened to the soldiers' explanations, a small number refused to follow orders.
A hunched old man spoke with an unhappy expression.
"My shop is about to open. I'm not wasting time here with you. If I don't go back, what will happen to my business?"
"There definitely won't be any customers today," the soldier said helplessly.

"Is there really any need to hold a drill in such a godforsaken inland area?"
"The Military Police have taken over the capital. Something must have happened."

Someone even boldly guessed, "The Military Police want to flex their muscles in front of the people. Are they that impatient to rule us?"
