Black: mental depression causes illness.
In psychology, the phenomenon where one sensation is accompanied by another is called synesthesia. People's perception of color easily triggers synesthesia, so colors can readily exert various effects on the human psyche.
Such as warmth and coldness, distance and proximity, heaviness and lightness. Colors such as red, orange, and yellow are called warm colors because they resemble the sun and blazing fire, evoking a sense of warmth. Cool colors such as blue, green, cyan, and purple resemble clear skies and ice, making people feel cold.
The warmth or coolness of colors mostly came from people's experience with light. Light of different colors had different wavelengths; violet light had the shortest wavelength, while red light had the longest.
A short wavelength meant a high frequency. Its energy was not easily absorbed by objects, so people found it difficult to obtain warmth through high-frequency light, making it a cool color.
At the same time, aside from light sources, we saw the colors of objects because the objects reflected or transmitted more light of those colors. If an object absorbed more high-frequency light, it would display the color of low-frequency light.
High-frequency light carried more energy than low-frequency light. Therefore, objects of warm colors absorbed more high-frequency light and gained more energy, making them more likely to feel warm.
The green plants also simulated the posture of ordinary plants, swaying with the wind and undergoing similar changes. Their realism was quite high.
