Kiana scratched her head in annoyance and shot Bronya a glare beside her.
"Bronya, stop bothering me. I'm just calculating how much force we'll need to break into that subspace...
"Don't tell Gwen, got it?!"
Though she looked impatient, Kiana's toned thighs stopped trembling, only to become restlessly tangled together instead.
"All right, Kiana, quiet down. Don't make trouble for Gwen."
Anna stepped in at the right moment, soothing Kiana's anxiety.
"And it's only been less than an hour. That was a Judgment-class Honkai Beast that once ravaged Shenzhou, so taking a little longer is perfectly normal."
Though she was equally anxious, Anna dutifully calmed the team as the vice-captain.
"I know that, I'm just..."
Faced with Anna's reassurance, Kiana could only lower her head obediently. Before she could finish, however, she sensed a disturbance in the space outside. Her dejected little face instantly lit up with delight, and she vanished from the cabin in a flash.
Looking at the empty seat, Anna froze for a moment before jogging to the window and looking down. There, she saw Gwen standing on the sea with his arms open, welcoming Kiana as she pounced at him.
"Gwen's back!"
With an envy she herself did not realize on her face, Anna spoke as she prepared to go down after Kiana.
But after hesitating for a moment, Anna ultimately did not follow her deepest desire. Instead, she began preparing for Gwen and Fu Hua's return to the ship.
"Prometheus..."
"Search complete. No signs of Chi You activity detected. Alert lifted."
Having already received Gwen's notice, Prometheus also withdrew the ship's defenses and said to Anna,
