"Ha..."
Though she had been looking forward to seeing Eden show that girlish side of herself again, Gwen, who also liked her elegant and composed side, did not continue teasing the beauty in his arms. With a soft chuckle, he tightened his arms around her waist before beginning to explain leisurely—
"Do you remember what Yom looked like when we first met her?"
"Mm..."
Hearing Gwen begin to discuss serious matters, Eden did her best to keep her mind clear despite her heart still pounding from the scorching warmth beneath her.
"Miss Yom previously... seemed to have been tainted by some kind of power..."

Eden had been deeply impressed by Yom, who had previously been gray and white, as though she had lost even her existence itself, as well as the vivid flower blooming upon her body.
It was not because that flower, standing out so brilliantly in that pale world, had delivered such an intense visual impact.
Rather, it was because beneath that beautiful flower lay a pale world.
That pallor, which seemed to have lost everything and left behind only nothingness, had even touched Eden's soul.
Had Gwen's strength not made a tremendous leap after his advancement, Eden suspected that before saving Yom, Gwen might have needed to save her first.
"Mm...
"As expected of you. Such sharp insight..."
After praising her with a chuckle, Gwen continued.
"However, because the relationship between that power and Yom is too complicated, while it could be called contamination, it could also be said that the power hidden within Yom's body... had gone berserk."
"The power within Miss Yom's body... went berserk?"
Hearing Gwen's explanation, Eden frowned slightly and carefully recalled her first impression upon seeing Yom.
After a moment, Eden nodded lightly, indicating that she accepted this explanation.
