The hurricane brought by the sudden change in the weather made Gwen's clothes flap violently, but it did nothing to ease his expression.
"Was it you, Cocolia?"
As he pondered the mastermind behind the attack, Gwen did not stop moving. After the thunderclouds overhead brewed for a moment, his raised right hand suddenly clenched. A Lightning Spear appeared in his grasp, and with a downward swing of his hand, it shot toward the Titan Mech that had been smashed to the ground and was trying to stand up.
The Lightning Spear arrived in an instant, striking the struggling Titan Mech with perfect accuracy. It immediately exploded into golden lightning serpents, engulfing the entire group of Titan Mechs.
After being struck by Gwen's Lightning Spear, the Titan Mechs instantly froze. Like piles of scrap metal, they collapsed where they were and no longer moved.
As the Lightning Spear in Gwen's hand struck the ground, dozens of Lightning Spears identical to it descended from the thunderclouds above, which blanketed nearly half the base and darkened the sky.
Though they had been fired all at once, these Lightning Spears were just like the one Gwen had thrown earlier. In an instant, they struck the Titan Mechs hiding between the buildings, then burst into crackling lightning, paralyzing both their targets and the nearby Titan Mechs.
Although he had yet to develop any proper techniques for using electromagnetic force, Gwen had developed an attack specifically for mech-type targets—
There was no need to completely destroy the target. As long as the Lightning Spear's properties were used to pierce the enemy's energy barrier, the lightning released by its explosion could directly cripple the mech's internal circuits, achieving the goal of destroying its combat capability.
Of course, although Gwen had developed this move for high-tech mech-type enemies,
