The Importance of Realms and a Detailed Explanation of Combat Power!

This really wasn't a topic I needed to write about again, but since some readers think the protagonist should be invincible, that he should ignore realm gaps and kill Xiong Ba, who is a whole major realm above him, by popping pills and unleashing a blood-bursting slash—or else he's a worthless mutt—I'll respond after all.

Since I wrote realms into the story, then realms have a valid reason and necessity to exist. They're like the rules of a game. Breaking those rules for a moment in pursuit of the ultimate thrill, having the protagonist ignore realms and directly kill the villain, would indeed feel great. But once many people calmed down, they'd immediately team up to flame me: "You've ruined the story. You killed someone a whole major realm above you—so are these realms you wrote just decorations?"

When I previously wrote the protagonist teaming up to take down Jue Wushen, that was only crossing a minor realm, yet plenty of people still criticized it. That was precisely why realms needed to exist; otherwise, no one would have criticized me. Now it's a whole major realm. I haven't even written the protagonist crossing it, and yet some people are criticizing me again. If he doesn't cross realms to kill the villain, then the protagonist is a worthless mutt.

I honestly don't know what to say. I got criticized before for crossing a minor realm, and now you want me to write him crossing a major realm and bursting someone's blood with one slash?

Then what is the point of writing realms? What is the point of the protagonist and his companions raising their realms?

Since he's the protagonist, he can just ignore realms and kill everything with one punch. Is that it?
