Five years later
The crystal suddenly appeared beside Zhou Hao and Murong.
"Hm? Why are you here?" Murong looked at the crystal and asked in surprise.
"There are three people following behind us. They are more than ten thousand light-years away," the crystal wrote in the air.
Zhou Hao paused, dispelled the formation patterns, then turned to the crystal and asked, "Are they passersby?"
Along the way, they had encountered quite a few groups traveling and exploring the universe. However, they had never interacted with them. At most, they would point those exploration teams in the right direction before continuing on their journey.
The crystal shook its head and continued writing, "No."
Murong raised her brows slightly and said thoughtfully, "They are more than ten thousand light-years away, yet they can keep tightly on our trail without being discovered.
No one could do that. They must be using some sort of detection device."
The crystal nodded lightly. "That's right. They have a crystal ball that can lock onto our position.
If the spatial fluctuations from their Teleportation hadn't kept appearing behind us, I wouldn't have noticed them from so far away either."
After giving it some thought, Zhou Hao looked at the crystal and asked, "When did you first notice them?"
"Less than five minutes ago." The crystal immediately wrote in reply, "After noticing them, I secretly went over to take a look, then returned to report to you."
It had not observed the three people closely, only caught a hurried glimpse of them.
"Mm." Zhou Hao nodded thoughtfully, rubbing his chin. "Let's go take a look!"
"Mm." Murong nodded in agreement. "Let the spaceship keep flying forward. We'll go see what they're up to."
"Alright." Zhou Hao replied softly, then said to the crystal, "Let's go."
