Four attained the Dao

The Netherworld.

Deep within reincarnation, outside two sealed stone chambers, fluctuations of law rippled outward like boiling water.

Inside Pingxin Hall, Empress Pingxin's lashes stirred as she slowly opened her eyes, rousing from her quiet meditation.

Her gaze seemed to pierce through layer upon layer of space, falling directly upon the two stone chambers.

Almost at the same moment, two figures appeared soundlessly within the hall.

They were Zhen Yuanzi and Minghe.

"Our respects, Your Ladyship." Both bowed in unison.

Zhen Yuanzi stroked his long beard. Sensing the two auras growing ever stronger, even beginning to clash and resonate with one another, he looked amazed.

"Fellow Daoist Wangshu and Fellow Daoist Taiyi are about to attain the Dao together."

Minghe stood beside him without speaking, but his blood-red eyes were filled with the same astonishment.

He had only just completed this journey himself and knew how difficult, how perilous, that final step was.

Yet now, as though they had arranged it beforehand, these two had triggered the opportunity to attain the Dao at precisely the same time.

From one of the stone chambers, the law of lunar erupted with a thunderous surge, carrying such absolute yin and cold that it seemed capable of freezing all of time and space.

The temperature throughout the Netherworld plummeted. Countless ghosts and spirits trembled beneath that aura, on the verge of being frozen to dust.

It was Wangshu's aura.

Seated in the place of honor, Pingxin's expression remained unchanged. She merely raised a hand.

A gentle wave of earthly Dao law power spread outward, instantly confining the icy chill to the depths of reincarnation and preventing it from affecting the Underworld in the slightest.
