Yun Zhongzi admitted he had retreated from Zhao Gongming, while Immortal Weng of the South Pole remained protected by the Wuji Apricot Yellow Banner against Zhao Gongming and Yang Jiao’s siblings. Yang Jiao used the Space Gourd to open a passage through the banner, letting Zhao Gongming and Yang Jian strike from within and kill Immortal Weng of the South Pole.

• Yun Zhongzi appeared before Daoist Randeng and admitted he had fled after seeing Randeng retreat from Zhao Gongming.
• Zhao Gongming and Yang Jiao’s three siblings besieged Immortal Weng of the South Pole, whose Wuji Apricot Yellow Banner withstood their attacks.
• Yang Jian urged Yang Jiao to use the Space Gourd to breach the banner, and Yang Jiao agreed despite the cost to Human Clan Merit and fortune.
