Beneath the dark heavens, Yuan Gang sat on the steps some distance away with a blade in hand, staring fixedly at Nyx.
Then, he spotted Lin Qiye standing beside Nyx and froze as well.

Nyx narrowed her eyes. An indescribable presence emanated from her body. Though there was not the slightest fluctuation of divine power around her, that presence alone firmly suppressed Yuan Gang.

"So it is the Goddess of Night." Yuan Gang paused, then continued, "May I ask what business brings you to Great Xia?"
Nyx tilted her head and thought for a while. "I came to find my son."

Lin Qiye coughed twice, his mind racing as he quickly added:
"She means... she came to find her proxy."
Understanding dawned in Yuan Gang's eyes. "So the Goddess came to find her proxy... Have you found him?"
"Found him," Lin Qiye said, once again speaking before Nyx could.
"Where?"
