The Sea Monster's deep roar mingled with thunder, echoing between heaven and earth.
Thunderclouds churned. Beneath the dim sky, three enormous black Magic Arrays overlapped layer by layer, rotating out of alignment in the air as a terrifying, eerie aura rapidly spread.
Beneath the triple Magic Array, Lin Qiye floated in the air, hazy magical elements surging around him as he calmly watched the monstrous Kraken.
"Abyssal Magic, Triple Rashomon."
The next moment, the three black arrays above his head shifted instantly, appearing around the Kraken and forming a black triangular prison that trapped it within.
Black lightning leaped between the Magic Arrays. Power from the abyss isolated the Kraken from the outside world. Its enormous tentacles struck the arrays, only to be scorched by black lightning and recoil.
The Kraken's faintly rotating eyes, like ghostly green lanterns, seemed to be considering what exactly was blocking its path.
A moment later, two of the Kraken's tentacles curled into balls, gleaming with a dark, cold light as they smashed heavily into the Magic Array.
Boom—!!
A muffled impact rang out, and the ground beneath them shook violently. The glow of one Magic Array immediately dimmed somewhat, while the Kraken's tentacles suffered only superficial injuries.
Lin Qiye's expression changed slightly.
Even with Merlin's soul residing within him, he was only at the "Limitless" realm. Against a "Klein" behemoth on the verge of stepping into the domain of gods, the gap in strength was still far too vast.
At this rate, the Kraken would break through Triple Rashomon after only a few more strikes.
Lin Qiye took a deep breath and slowly raised his left hand. A silver gleam bloomed from his fingertips, and a low chant echoed through the air.
"Spatial Magic, Dimensional Banishment."
The light at Lin Qiye's fingertips blazed.
