"An explosion?!"
In another dormitory building, several recruits abruptly stood up and looked toward the source of the blast, their expressions changing.
"They ran into trouble first. Should we go help?" one of them asked with a frown.
"You should worry about yourselves first."
A voice drifted over from afar. Immediately afterward, a purple vortex rapidly formed below the building.

Part of the explosion that had just been swallowed by the vortex in the warehouse came surging out of this vortex, carrying terrifying shrapnel and flames. In an instant, half the dormitory building was blasted into rubble!
Amid the shattered ruins, a concrete sphere slowly opened, and more than a dozen recruits shot out from within!
"We've been surrounded from behind! Get them together!!"
The lead recruit roared. The longsword in his hand flared with red light, trailing a long tail as he charged toward the vortex, with attacks of every color following close behind!
"Force Field Reversal."
A crisp clap sounded from afar. Balance floated cross-legged in midair and pointed at the crowd from a distance.
The gravity around them instantly reversed. Their bodies suddenly felt weightless, and a force dragged them up into the sky, causing their entire attack formation to collapse at once.
Just then, a massive hammer shadow came whistling down from above!
Rose floated in the air as well, gripping a huge hammer as she shouted!
"Off you go!"

The hammer sent the dozen or so recruits floating in midair flying. Even those who barely managed to evade the blow with their own abilities were restrained by Balance's force field, then smashed away a second time.
Less than half a minute had passed since Vortex appeared, yet this team of more than a dozen recruits had already been wiped out.
