Chapter Summaries

Zhou Ping reassured the children in the underground garage and reflected on whether Lin Qiye and his students might come to save him. When three gods appeared and attacked Fengdu, he went out to face them as Chen Han, Lu Yu, and the children called on the Great Xia Sword Saint to slay the gods and bring them home.

• Zhou Ping told the children that he was the only Sword Saint and spoke of his students, the Fifth Reserve Team, while doubting they would come to save him.

• Amon touched the Fengdu Law with his black scepter, and a curse began seeping toward the primordial mountain range.

Nyx completed her treatment and left the Psychiatric Hospital of the Gods to return to Olympus and settle old debts, promising Lin Qiye they would meet again. As Lin Qiye’s companions struggled against the attacking enemies, Nyx emerged from a dark doorway and seized Grey Sparrow.

• Nyx told Lin Qiye that the hospital was alive and that she had to leave to deal with the deaths of her children and rebuild her Divine Body.
• Nyx comforted Lin Qiye, promised to return, completed her treatment, and opened a doorway to leave the hospital.
• Baili Pangpang, Shen Qingzhu, and Cao Yuan fought the black giant while An Qingyu and Jiang Er struggled against the white bear.

Nyx emerged from Lin Qiye’s body, killed the Grey Sparrow that had threatened him, and restrained the Beast Tide. She left the Mysteries hanging above the battlefield, apparently intending for Lin Qiye to kill them himself.

• Nyx appeared on the battlefield and forced the Mysteries, including the white bear and giant, to the ground with her divine aura.
• Nyx recognized the Grey Sparrow as the one that had tried to hurt Lin Qiye and had him raise Zhanbai before she severed its neck on the blade.
• Nyx told Lin Qiye she would soon leave and promised him three more gifts.
• Nyx spread darkness beneath the Beast Tide and suspended more than three hundred Mysteries in the air when they tried to escape.

Nyx slaughtered the Beast Tide and gave Lin Qiye its captured Mysteries, a protective overcoat, and one final chance to draw her ability. Lin Qiye’s draw stopped on Extraordinary Procreation.
