Chapter Summaries

Lin Qiye and Jialan escaped through the Gate of Reception as Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi pursued them, but both were gravely wounded. The gate closed behind them, leaving Lin Qiye clutching the sword and carrying the unconscious Jialan as they fell toward the sea.

Lin Qiye woke from unconsciousness in the club, still wounded by Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi and weakened from the Mortal Divine Domain sustaining a miracle to heal him.

• Jinian enthusiastically led the Shang Xie Association into the Asaba Club, which Wei Dong had arranged as their temporary base.
• Armed hosts confronted the group, but Wei Dong recognized them as honored guests and had the hosts put away their weapons.
