Yurina Takishiro looked at the bloodstained ground before him and waved a hand, putting away the Executioner's Blade.
"More or less done..."
Yurina Takishiro was about to turn and leave when his footsteps suddenly froze midair.
He turned back in confusion and saw a door standing amid the pool of blood. Its shape shifted continuously—it was the passage between reality and the game world.
Yurina Takishiro seemed to hear something and muttered helplessly, "Got it, got it... I'm letting you out now."
He walked up to the door and turned the handle. With a soft click, it slowly opened...
A young girl stepped over the threshold and emerged from the game world.
She took a deep breath.
"Whew... It's been so long since I breathed real air. Being human is still more comfortable." Amy Mei could not help but sigh.
"Why did you come out already?"
"I came to help you!"
"Help me?" Yurina Takishiro glanced at Apollo's scattered corpse in the pool of blood. "But I've already dealt with him."
"Not him... There's something else here."
Amy Mei spoke with certainty.
She sniffed the air, quickly found a direction, and hurried away. Though Yurina Takishiro was full of doubts, he followed behind her.
Amy Mei walked down from the summit of Sun God Mountain, passed through several tangled trails, and arrived before a hidden cave.
"This is the place."
"What's inside?" Yurina Takishiro asked.
"Grief, pain... and despair."
Amy Mei spoke softly and stepped inside.
Yurina Takishiro followed behind her. After walking downward for a little over a minute, the originally narrow underground passage suddenly opened up!
A massive cavern appeared before them.
The cavern lay at the base of the mountain, as though it had been hollowed out by hand, connected to the bases of several other peaks.
