It was finished!
From July 9, 2021, to June 9, 2023, this marathon that had lasted nearly two years had finally come to an end.
Before finishing, I had thought of so many things I wanted to say in these completion remarks, but now that I had picked up the pen, I found I couldn't write a thing...
In any case, let me first report this book's results to everyone.
So far, "Slay the Gods" had garnered twenty-one million favorites on Tomato, with over thirty million readers. Those were fairly decent results—at the very least, far better than Replicated Mirror. (laughs)
I remembered when San Jiu had just started writing Replicated Mirror. I had still been a struggling college student, carrying my laptop out of the dorm at seven every morning to find a classroom and write. In winter, the classrooms didn't even have the heat on, so I could only rub my hands while typing away... During those first few months, I only earned two or three yuan a day in royalties—not even enough to buy a steamed bun.
Back then, I had wanted to give up countless times, but in the end, I gritted my teeth and persevered. More and more people began reading my books, and my results gradually improved. That was how I made it through that hardest period.
After finishing Replicated Mirror, I happened to be graduating from college. San Jiu casually rented a place and began planning the next book. Since Replicated Mirror had received a fairly good response on Tomato, I released the new book directly here. At the time, I had only wanted something to do and to earn a little living money on the side. San Jiu had never imagined it would achieve the results it had today...
In any case,
