Lin Qiye had only taken two steps when a figure appeared behind him and patted him on the shoulder.
"Director." Merlin smiled at Lin Qiye. "Are you going to see that tyrant?"
Lin Qiye nodded. "Yeah. What is it?"
Merlin shrugged and reached into the void. A small Magic Array unfolded in his palm. A moment later, a dark teal copper fragment fell into his hand, and he held it out to Lin Qiye.
"Take this with you." Merlin spoke slowly. "It might be of some help to you."
Lin Qiye took the copper fragment and examined it carefully in his palm. It was about half a palm in size. Judging from its outer edge, it seemed to have broken off from some sort of round emblem, making up roughly one-third of the original. Its surface was covered in intricate, mysterious patterns, giving it an ancient, weathered air.
"This is..." Lin Qiye looked at Merlin in confusion.
"This is a fragment I found in the ruins of the Uruk Kingdom while traveling the world during that ancient era. It may be connected to that man."
