• The warriors used the desert heat and coordinated attacks to weaken the creatures, then fought the Behemoths formed by their fused bodies.

Xi Xiu and her allies faced threats on several fronts, from abducted children and Eternal Robots to creatures attacking a planet’s vegetation. The creatures’ connection to substances dangerous to the Anvile People left Wu Jingyang declaring an emergency.

• Xi Xiu learned that the Tentacled Creatures carried many kinds of genes and that their connected consciousnesses were linked to Anvile’s missing consciousnesses, while the Alliance reinforced Ningkui Star and Aura’s defenders repelled Hanhai attacks.
• Xi Xiu arranged treatment for the soldiers freed from the Tentacled Creatures’ Mental Power, and most of her force left Moda after Asik and the Moda People supplied them with weapons and equipment.
• Xi Xiu welcomed transferred soldiers to Yuanri and investigated Kuang Biru and her mother after A Xian suspected Anvile methods had restored Kuang Biru’s Mental Power.

• Xi Xiu led a mission against burrowing creatures that had destroyed a planet’s vegetation, and Xu Zhuming found that their genes might include Exotic Plant genes.
• Xi Xiu divided her warriors into teams and fought the creatures with Ebony and Night Soul Grass, discovering that the creatures regrew, consumed their own bodies and could imitate voices and body language.
