I offered no excuses. I would keep practicing.

2. I failed to foresee things perfectly.

I thought I could write the later plotlines of this book, but being censored again and again made me understand that I couldn't.

As a result, some later plotlines had to be skipped or changed, leaving them unable to connect with what followed.

Even more frustratingly, many late-stage plotlines were only brushed over, yet they were still censored, making it even harder to continue writing.

Some readers had probably seen it coming long ago.

So the first part ended here, and this book could only end here as well.

I would never again engage in political commentary online.

4. About Martial Dao Ascension

For the past few years, writing had not been where I put most of my energy. It was only after finishing my previous book that the focus of my life returned to writing.

Near the end of my previous book, Fate Hunter, I became aware of the limits of my own writing ability, as well as the decline caused by not specializing in writing. I realized that I could only write a few types of stories and could not write many different genres.

Simply put, I only "felt that there were problems with my writing," but my understanding was unclear, and I did not know what to do.

It was like how, ever since childhood, I had known that I should "study hard and improve every day," yet I could not do it.
