Ch. 321Whalefall

Zhou Leng received Tree Senior’s explanation of the Star-Refining Furnace and the Star Phoenix Restoration Art, then began mastering the Flying Whale Chapter and named its ultimate force Whalefall Force. After studying several Divine Scripts and sleeping, he returned to Sky-Viewing Mountain and focused on a star being born.

  • Zhou Leng reached the limits of his current cultivation and brought Big Yellow beneath the Frost Giant Tree to seek Tree Senior’s guidance about the Star-Refining Furnace.
  • Big Yellow retrieved a sixth Divine Script Golden Page, which contained the Flying Whale Chapter and teachings about the Star-Refining Furnace, healing arts, and treasures such as the Primordial Tree Root.
  • Zhou Leng learned the first move of the Flying Whale Chapter and discovered that its shifting force complemented the Standing Elephant Chapter and resembled some of Elder Song’s techniques.
  • Zhou Leng recorded his insights and named the chapter’s explosive falling force Whalefall Force, then memorized the Divine Scripts for the Star Phoenix Restoration Art and the Star-Refining Furnace.
  • Zhou Leng slept for less time than before, woke fully restored, and appeared atop Sky-Viewing Mountain, where he watched a new star being born.

Ch. 322Old School

Zhou Leng revisited No. 59 Middle School and connected its sealed cases to the Rao family, the Demon-Worshiping Cult, and Zhao Tong’s death, but Wang Boxiong told him the case files were sealed. He also learned about a possible Calamity God plot and was warned to avoid its Calamity Envoy.

  • Zhou Leng ran along the Dragon Roam River and, outside the sealed No. 59 Middle School, pieced together links between Zhang Xiaoxiao, Rao Mingxian, the Rao family, and several bloody cases.
  • Zhou Leng asked Wang Boxiong to share new information about the No. 59 Middle School Case, the Rao family, and the Demon-Worshiping Cult, but Wang said he could review the sealed case only after advancing to Innate and becoming a Special-Appointed Martial Guard.
  • Zhou Leng discovered that his civilian rank had risen to Yangtze River Scholar and resolved to repay Azure-Crimson Flame after saving enough Contribution Value.
  • Shen Jun offered Zhou Leng nine kinds of Innate Advancement-Replenishing Pills, including rare varieties; after Snow Mountain Wolf arranged a Grandmaster Demon Spirit Master’s appraisal, Zhou Leng agreed to have them sent to Ru University and reported the deal to Shen Jun.
  • Shen Jun told Madam Xi Yan that Gong Futing planned to settle accounts with Zhou Leng and asked her about the Calamity Envoy; Madam Xi Yan warned him to keep Zhou Leng far away from it.
  • Shen Jun revealed that Demon Prison’s Calamity Summoning might bring a Calamity God to Blue Star, and Zhou Leng learned that the Demon-Worshiping Cult had been refining murdered people into Blood Pearls for the summoning.

Ch. 323Seeing Him Off

  • Zhou Leng left with Xu Qingjin, while Ru University students filmed the defeated visitors and posted videos online.
  • Zhou Leng traveled to West Sea Martial University and followed Martial Dao students into the Great Martial Grounds.
  • Mo Hai recognized Zhou Leng, and students warned the school leaders that he had arrived after Miller defeated West Sea Martial University's students.
  • A teacher asked Zhou Leng whether he was from Ru City Martial University, and Zhou Leng nodded.

Ch. 325Solo Battle

Zhou Leng challenged West Sea Martial University as his Innate Battle Path and faced a growing tide of its students after rejecting the ten opponents selected for him. He defeated everyone who attacked and reached the passage to the main entrance, leaving the school’s students sprawled behind him.

  • Zhou Leng declared West Sea Martial University his Innate Battle Path and asked it to send ten experts to fight him.
  • West Sea Martial University selected ten Force-Generating Stage students, but Zhou Leng asked for stronger opponents, provoking the students into challenging him.
  • Zhou Leng began walking toward the exit and defeated each student who attacked him with a single move.
  • Martial Dao students poured into the fight, and Zhou Leng continued forward as hundreds were injured or knocked unconscious.
  • The teachers forbade Blood-Circulating Stage students from joining, while academy leaders recognized Zhou Leng’s strength.
  • After the last student fell, Zhou Leng reached the passage before the main entrance.

Ch. 326Eighty Percent

Zhou Leng defeated West Sea Martial University’s students and an Innate teacher, then declared the grudge between the schools over. Back at Ru University, a video of his fight spread among the students, who learned he had taken on a thousand people alone.

  • A West Sea Martial University student challenged Zhou Leng to face Miller before fighting them, but Zhou Leng revealed Miller was still embedded in the ground at Ru University and collapsed dozens of meters of spectator seating with an Innate strike.
  • A masked True-Liquid Innate confronted Zhou Leng and claimed he would use only eighty percent of his power, but Zhou Leng’s palm strike broke the man’s arm and knocked him unconscious.
  • Zhou Leng sent Mo Hai a video and asked him to explain that the Innate had underestimated him, then told Wang Boxiong what had happened and ran back to Ru University.
  • Zhou Leng told Deng Zhijue that he had finished the Innate Battle Path and would prepare pills before asking the instructor to guard him the next day.
  • Ru University students questioned Zhou Leng about the blood on his clothes, then watched a video showing a thousand West Sea Martial University students downed and the spectator seating collapsed.
  • The students learned that West Sea Martial University had nicknamed Zhou Leng One-Move Equalizer Zhou after he defeated them.

Ch. 327Wealth

Zhou Leng’s victory over West Sea Martial University left the school badly injured and cost Vice Principal Jiang his position, while Zhou Leng continued his daily life with Xu Qingjin and prepared for further advancement. The chapter ended with Zhou Leng buying Realm-Guarding Pills, bringing his total to nine.

  • Zhou Leng watched footage of Miller defeating ten opponents, while West Sea Martial University treated more than a thousand people injured in Zhou Leng’s counterattack.

  • Miller woke in the hospital, recovered his memory of Zhou Leng slamming him into the ground, and fainted again from agitation.
  • Zhou Leng had lunch with Xu Qingjin, then collected advancement medicines from Snow Mountain Wolf and bought two Realm-Guarding Pills, bringing his total to nine.

Ch. 328Dragon-Tiger

Zhou Leng attempted to advance to the Innate Realm at Ru University, using Realm-Guarding Pills and the Ancient River Sect’s Divine Script technique. After nine failures and more pills, his twelfth attempt triggered unprecedented sounds from his meridians and heart, leaving his advancement unresolved.

  • Zhou Leng prepared pills from nine races and began his advancement with Wang Boxiong and Huang Jingqiu watching.
  • Zhou Leng repeatedly failed to break through the dantian barrier, while the Realm-Guarding Pills and Disorderly Spirit Sound refined his body and true qi.
  • After Zhou Leng used his ninth pill without advancing, Wang Boxiong fetched a drawer of Realm-Guarding Pills from the university storeroom.
  • During Zhou Leng’s twelfth attempt, his dantian and meridians produced the Meridian Zither Sound.
  • Zhou Leng’s heart then sounded thirty-six times, producing the Heart-Drum Wave Roar.

Ch. 329Counteroffensive

Zhou Leng completed his advancement into the Innate Realm, gaining liquid true qi and remarkable control over his body's weight. After Wang Boxiong and Huang Jingqiu tested his abilities, Wang Boxiong told him he would join a planned Counteroffensive against Demon Prison.

  • Wang Boxiong and Huang Jingqiu recognized Zhou Leng's exceptional abilities and told him he would participate in their upcoming Counteroffensive against Demon Prison.

Ch. 330Taking a Disciple

Zhou Leng advanced to Innate and Wang Boxiong arranged for him to become Martial Saint Zhu Shiji’s final disciple. After accepting the connection, Zhou Leng honored a promise to the families of two martial artists who had died protecting him.

  • Wang Boxiong tried to arrange a spar between Zhou Leng and Huang Jingqiu, but Huang Jingqiu claimed an emergency mission and left; Zhou Leng then excused himself to avoid sparring Wang Boxiong.
  • Wang Boxiong persuaded Zhu Shiji to take Zhou Leng as his final disciple by describing Zhou Leng’s abilities and accomplishments, then told Zhou Leng the arrangement was settled.
  • Zhou Leng questioned the sudden discipleship, but thanked Wang Boxiong and accepted that a Martial Saint mentor could protect him.
  • Zhou Leng contacted Xue Chengsong for Guo Xiaohao and Liu Teng’s family details, then gave each of their children three Origin-Replenishing Pills.
  • Xue Chengsong told his father, Xue Tongming, that Zhou Leng had given the pills to the children of Guo Xiaohao and Liu Teng.

Ch. 331Shipping

Xue Tongming and Xue Chengsong discussed Zhou Leng’s generosity, rising fame, and the danger his bold actions could bring, while Zhou Leng planned how to distribute his surplus pills and prepare for life as an Innate expert. After receiving evidence implicating Zhang Xiaoxiao, Zhou Leng reviewed the No. 59 Middle School Case files and learned how a demonic formation had secretly drained Class Three students to strengthen a demonized martial artist.

  • Xue Tongming decided to send Origin-Replenishing Pills to two children and sell Zhou Leng High-Energy Spiral Shells at a discount, while agreeing that the Xue Family should help Zhou Leng if it could.
  • Zhou Leng counted his remaining pills and planned to give some to Uncle Li Linhan, Xu Qingjin, friends, and elders who had helped him when he was young.
  • Zhou Leng reviewed the pills and obligations associated with the Innate Realm, including the need for expensive supplies and annual service in the Demon City Army or emergency summons.
  • Feng Wenhao told Zhou Leng that documents had arrived for him, and Zhou Leng found evidence that Zhang Xiaoxiao had abducted and brutally killed leaders from No. 59 Middle School and their families.
  • With Wang Boxiong’s authorization, Zhou Leng read the case files and learned that a demonic formation had drained Class Three students’ life force to empower a demonized martial artist, while an order from Xiong Capital had halted the investigation.

Ch. 332Sealed Away

Zhou Leng learned why the Martial Guards planned to seal the No. 59 Martial Arts School case and struggled with the choice between seeking justice for Zhang Xiaoxiao and protecting Rao Mingxian. After discussing his next steps as an Innate martial artist with Wang Boxiong, he trained in the Purgatory Gate and resumed his daily cultivation.

  • Zhou Leng read the evidence about Rao Fuxing's Demon-Infusion Array, Zhang Xiaoxiao's revenge, and the Class Three parents' role in the attack on No. 59 Martial Arts School.
  • Wang Boxiong told Zhou Leng that the Martial Guards would seal the case for insufficient evidence and urged him to master Innate knowledge, join the counterattack war, and later visit Innate Mountain.
  • Wang Boxiong advised Zhou Leng to conceal his identity and Martial Will for now, then reveal his Ancient River Sect status after reaching Grandmaster.
  • Zhou Leng asked Tree Senior for a Golden Page, received no answer, and entered the Purgatory Gate's Beast-Insect Valley and Springtime Hall.
  • Zhou Leng endured the Red Lotus Fire Prison until its flames shifted from burning heat to severe cold, leaving him unconscious and etching faint lotus marks onto his Martial Will.
  • After recovering, Zhou Leng ran and practiced his techniques, including the Flying Whale Chapter, Space-Severing Finger, Taiqing Sea Garment, and Wave-Stacking Palm.

Ch. 333Shedding Teeth

Zhou Leng harvested Orange Blossom Fruit after defeating an Innate Black Bone Tiger, then received a transformation from the Eight-Tusked Mammoths’ liquid that reshaped his body and teeth. After adapting to his new body and improving his Thousand-Tide Sea technique, he joined the mammoth army as it set out for war.

  • Zhou Leng defeated the Innate Black Bone Tiger with his Thousand-Tide Sea and claimed the Orange Blossom Fruit grove after the other tigers yielded.
  • Little Eight led Zhou Leng and Big Yellow to the Eight-Tusked Mammoths, who covered Zhou Leng in their powerful liquid.
  • The liquid made Zhou Leng lose his teeth and grow into a towering, grotesquely muscular body; his teeth regrew as forty flawless teeth.
  • Zhou Leng adapted his altered body through cultivation, gained finer control of his strength, and integrated sixteen Wave-Stacking Palm moves into Thousand-Tide Sea.
  • Zhou Leng, Big Yellow, and Little Eight joined a force of more than three hundred ferocious beasts as the Eight-Tusked Mammoths marched toward war.

Ch. 334Warhorse

Zhou Leng and the Eight-Tusked Mammoths defeated the Silver-Armored Warhorse Tribe, and Zhou claimed the young Polly as his mount. After gathering spoils and arranging a future trade with Big Yellow and Little Eight, he returned with the wounded herd to Mammoth Lake to recover.

  • Zhou Leng joined the Eight-Tusked Mammoths in a bloody battle against the Silver-Armored Warhorses, fighting several himself as both sides suffered heavy losses.
  • The Eight-Tusked Mammoths mourned their fallen, plundered the tribe's resources, and drove the young warhorses back to their territory.
  • Zhou named the strongest young warhorse Polly and repeatedly beat and dragged her in an attempt to tame her.
  • Zhou collected silver armor, warhorse blood, meat, and medicinal fruits, then asked Big Yellow and Little Eight to trade him their future scraps for food and goods from other worlds.
  • Polly refused Zhou's demand to become his mount, so he dragged her around the imprisoned warhorses until she gave in from shame.
  • Zhou and the Eight-Tusked Mammoths returned to Mammoth Lake with Polly and soaked in the water to heal their injuries.

Ch. 335Thousand Seas

After campaigning with the Eight-Tusked Mammoths, Zhou Leng created the fierce killing move Thousand Seas and reviewed his gains before heading to the Martial Dao Mall. He left the chapter facing the enormous cost of Grandmaster-grade training and treatment equipment.

  • Zhou Leng fought alongside the Eight-Tusked Mammoths as they defeated five tribes, then returned to Mammoth Lake with Little Eight, Big Yellow, and Polly.
  • Zhou Leng assessed his medicinal-fruit gains and integrated all eighteen moves of Wave-Stacking Palm into the killing move Thousand Seas.
  • Zhou Leng exchanged messages with Zhao Nandi and Zhang Xinglie, while learning that Song Juesi had reached Blood-Shaking Innate and that the Ancient River Sect's initiation ceremony was ready.
  • Zhou Leng arranged for Snow Mountain Wolf to auction his silver armor and horsewhip in Demon Spirit World, where they would fetch a better price.
  • Zhou Leng inspected Grandmaster-grade equipment at the Martial Dao Mall and found that even basic training gear would cost around four hundred million, while a complete set would cost three billion.

Ch. 336Strength

Zhou Leng spent heavily on Grandmaster-grade demonized equipment, tested his strength, and compared his progress with Shanhe Yuan. He explored Innate Mountain’s rankings and prepared blood sausages from rare creature blood, while planning for future cultivation and the counteroffensive.

  • Zhou Leng spent 430 million Contribution Value on eight Grandmaster-grade demonized devices and calculated which pills and healing resources he would need for his rapid advancement.
  • Zhou Leng tested his weightlifting strength at Ru University's Innate Martial Arts Gymnasium, recording 25.7 tons without True Qi and 119.9 tons with it.
  • Shanhe Yuan reported slightly higher lifting results, discussed Zhou Leng's growing strength, and invited him to join the Great Battlefield; they agreed to participate in the counteroffensive at different demon cities.
  • Zhou Leng browsed Innate Mountain's rankings under the name Xinhe and estimated that his Martial Index was likely between 18 and 19.
  • Zhou Leng went to the market, turned half of his rare creature blood into blood sausages, and boiled them in pots that absorbed the foul smell.

Ch. 337Ceremony

Zhou Leng took the dragon-blood sausage-drunk Xu Qingjin back to her dorm, then attended the Ancient River Sect Initiation Ceremony, where the children and crowd swore an oath and witnessed a vision of the stars. The ceremony’s roar reached the distant Burial Dragon Forbidden Abyss, where an old man sent a star toward Blue Star.

  • Zhou Leng brought Xu Qingjin to her dorm after she ate too much dragon blood sausage, and her roommates teased her about him and the Demon Spirit Bag he left behind.
  • Cheng Changsheng joined his classmates at the Ancient River Research Bureau for the Ancient River Sect Initiation Ceremony, where the masked eldest senior brother led them in prayers and a sect oath.
  • Cheng Changsheng and the others declared that they were willing to join the Ancient River Sect, and the broken bronze furnace rang out as distant bells sounded.
  • The masked eldest senior brother roared, turning the plaza’s daylight into a starry sky before leading everyone in the vow, “Martial Dao shall not perish; Ancient River shall flow forever.”
  • The roar reached the Burial Dragon Forbidden Abyss, where a white-haired old man looked toward Blue Star and sent a star streaking through the universe.

Ch. 338What About Me?

Zhou Leng used the Tiger Tally to identify sixteen suspicious Ancient River Sect disciples and arranged to investigate them while restricting their contact with the outside world. After receiving extensive rewards and discovering the Tally’s marks for several exceptional disciples—but none for himself—he continued training as the Martial Guard and Demon City Army investigated the suspects, ending with a new disciples’ assembly after a purge of traitors.

  • Zhou Leng used the Tiger Tally to identify sixteen suspicious disciples and asked Wang Boxiong to provide their files.
  • Zhou Leng and Wang Boxiong planned restrictions and investigations for the sixteen, with Zhou Leng deciding to deal with the first nine himself and the authorities pursuing the other seven.
  • Wang Boxiong gave Zhou Leng pills, honors, purchasing privileges, and a Special-Appointed Martial Guard contract.
  • Zhou Leng checked the Tiger Tally’s records, found Lou Feiqiong was not among the suspects, and saw Shanhe Yuan, Song Juesi, and Zhang Xinglie marked as exceptional talents, but found no mark for himself.
  • The Martial Guard and Demon City Army investigated the seven suspects and, five days later, purged traitors connected to Grandmaster lineages and major factions.
  • The Ancient River Research Bureau held another disciples’ assembly after the purge.

Ch. 339Old Grudges

Wang Boxiong announced the Ancient River Sect’s response to infiltrators, while Zhou Leng used the Tiger Tally to burn nine Disloyal Disciples to ash. The Lou Clan ordered Lou Feiqiong to monitor Zhou Leng, and the chapter ended with Chen Shouhu rallying Innate Realm fighters for a counteroffensive against the Demonic Beasts.

  • After Wang Boxiong’s speech, Zhou Leng selected nine Disloyal Disciples for elimination, and Heavenly Fire burned them to ash at the Ancient River Research Bureau.
  • Wang Boxiong and Chen Shouhu discussed the authorities’ scrutiny of Zhou Leng, and Wang Boxiong later exchanged pointers with Lou Feiqiong at the bureau.
  • Lou Feiqiong told the Lou Clan about the Ancient River Sect’s power, and Lou Shanding revealed the clan’s history of hostility toward Ma Xingkong and its concern about Zhou Leng.
  • Lou Shanding ordered Lou Feiqiong to monitor Zhou Leng and report if he showed a strong chance of becoming a Grandmaster, and Lou Feiqiong agreed.
  • Three days later, Chen Shouhu addressed hundreds of Innate Realm experts at the Water Continent Demon City Martial Arts Brigade and urged them to kill Demonic Beasts.

Ch. 340Mingzhu

Chen Shouhu led more than three hundred Innates into the Demon Prison’s ninth level to attack Candlebreak City, a remote Candlebearer settlement. Zhou Leng and Shanhe Yuan joined the siege team, which prepared to destroy the city’s teleportation array and sow chaos before the assault began.

  • Chen Shouhu urged the Innates to kill Demonic Beasts and led them through a spatial rift into Boundless City.
  • Chen Shouhu divided the Innates into siege and ambush teams, assigning Zhou Leng, Shanhe Yuan, and other Ancient River Sect disciples to the siege.
  • Gao Yunbo explained the plan to infiltrate Candlebreak City disguised as Demonic Beasts and destroy its teleportation array, using a Demon Spirit Bomb if necessary.
  • The siege team approached Candlebreak City and assigned Zhou Leng, Shanhe Yuan, and others to set fires and disrupt the city while veterans attacked key strongholds.
  • Zhou Leng identified Radiance of Mingzhu as a member of the Candlebearers’ Demigod bloodline and prepared his weapons as the team readied itself for the signal.
