Second update today: Chapter 1961! 2/3!
Upside-Down Mountain had one defining feature: the number and quality of the ruins within its body increased the higher one went.
In other words, the more valuable ruins were all at higher elevations!
This was also due to the nature of Upside-Down Mountain itself.
First, Upside-Down Mountain was top-heavy and bottom-light. The land area of the mountain's upper sections was hundreds of thousands of times larger than that below. With more space, naturally more bones could be buried there.
Second, at lower elevations, Upside-Down Mountain's own laws were not strong enough to preserve powerful ruins. The same applied to those shorter secondary peaks. Even if they were given a divine ruin, they could not withstand the active power within it, and the mountain might very well collapse.
Only Upside-Down Mountain's main peak could accommodate those divine ruins.
Accordingly, of the four ruin locations Xu Kun knew about, the Ancient God Ruin—Nine Dragon Mountain—was situated extremely high on the main peak, at an elevation of roughly 9.5 times Blue Star's gravity.
Next came the ruin of Asura God, Bloodfiend, located at an elevation close to nine times Blue Star's gravity.
Third was the ruin of Dao Thunder Celestial Venerable, at nearly eight times Blue Star's gravity.
Finally, and closest to the starting point, was Jixia Academy, which humanity had expended tremendous manpower and resources to build a mountain gate around. It stood at only twice Blue Star's gravity.
In terms of corresponding realms and ranks, that was equivalent to Tier 21.
Although Xu Kun most wanted to first reach Dao Thunder Celestial Venerable's burial ground and revive Thor, mountain climbing could not be rushed. He had to take it one step at a time.
There were still more than twenty days before the gates
