One of the dragons laughed. "Not just us. Aside from those Eastern Dragon Descendants who can be considered several generations removed from the ancestors and serve as administrators of the Eastern Dragon Court, most independent dragons of the Eastern Dragon Court became dragons in a single leap thanks to the Dragon Gate."
Another dragon began explaining, "Throughout the entire Dragon Domain, there is a river that flows from the outer regions, passes through every Dragon Nest, and finally enters the Eastern Dragon Court. We call it the Dragon Transformation River."
"The Dragon Transformation River itself is merely the mother river of our Dragon Race. Generation after generation of Dragon Descendants are born along its banks."
"Whenever the Dragon Gate opens once every ten years, the Dragon Transformation River becomes a scene of ten thousand dragons racing across its waters."
"Everyone who knows about the Dragon Gate understands that only when the bells of the Myriad Races Battlefield ring loudly enough will the Dragon Ancestors open it. The Dragon Gate stands at the entrance to the Eastern Dragon Court. Cross it, and one receives the Dragon Gate's blessing—one's bloodline is purified, allowing one to become part of the Eastern Dragon Court."
Another dragon added, "And even those who fail to leap over the Dragon Gate benefit greatly from participating in this ceremony!"
"How so?" Xu Kun showed intense curiosity.
One dragon answered, "Normally, the Dragon Transformation River flows downstream, from the outermost reaches of
