Thor had once been one of the foremost divine smiths of his era.
But the Forging Art he had mastered differed from conventional forging. Or rather, he had been forced to learn the innate forging method, yet had only learned its first half.
As someone capable of wielding Mjolnir's power, Thor could have become one of the world's greatest divine smiths if he had wished. He might not have rivaled Sindri (Viktor), Du Hualin, or the crafty Loki, but with his talent, he could at least have stood alongside Brok!
It was simply that he had little personal interest in the Dao of forging.
His involvement in forging was partly to repay kindness by helping Sindri and the others forge difficult raw materials, and partly because of the Asa God Race's Human Demon Soldier Project. As the Asa God Race's most battle-proven divine son, he naturally had to contribute his share.
Thus, despite his exceptional forging talent and divine artifacts at hand, he had learned only the grand, unadorned forging method. He had never delved into the finer details of equipment craftsmanship.
For example, when he helped the Dwarf Race forge, he merely refined the raw materials. After all, Mjolnir's power could make the forging of all kinds of metals incredibly smooth and efficiently meet the prerequisite of the Dwarf Race's innate forging method—one hundred percent purity!
The creation of Human Demon Soldiers also differed from ordinary weapons. The main body was a lifeless robot, and that was the portion Thor had participated in forging. The finer details afterward had still been handled by the Dwarf Race and Loki's group.
Raw material refinement, blank shaping, final formation—Thor had only learned the first two steps.
