Only representatives of races that possessed racial islands had Celestial Bells installed on their islands, and only those races had the right to ring them.
Looking across all previous instances of the Celestial Bell being rung, it signified that a major figure had lost the patience to participate in bidding and was determined to obtain the newly presented item.
However, beyond that determination, ringing the Celestial Bell also served as a warning.
For the Asura Race's auctions, this was the only privilege that allowed those major figures to wield their power over others.
Because once the Celestial Bell was rung, the item currently up for auction would unquestionably fall into the hands of the person who rang it.
But if anyone chose to bid after the Celestial Bell had sounded, then regardless of the final highest bid, the person who rang the bell would have to acquire it for twice that price.
Then someone might ask: what if someone maliciously drove up the price?
It did not matter. Based on the final highest bid, the bell-ringer had to pay double to purchase it.
Then another question: what if they did not have enough money?
