The Race Core was undoubtedly a very unfamiliar term.
Few people ever bothered to learn about it, and even fewer had any need for it.
What was a Race Core? Put simply, it was the origin point of a race. Everything about a race was derived from or rooted in that origin point.
It was the prerequisite for establishing an independent race.
An innate Race Core was a product of the Heavenly Dao's workings. Even a weak race like the Lan Yin Grass Race could still become an independent race because, under the workings of the Heavenly Dao, even races as exceedingly weak as theirs could be categorized and designated as a race.
A Race Core could be regarded as the primordial substance that formed a type of race under the Heavenly Dao's workings. It determined that race's bloodline traits and physical characteristics.
It had no fixed form. Most existed within the creatures of that race like genetic code, though some could be like the Liangshan Altar of the Mount Tai Ghost Race, serving as the Race Core.
And even after an era's decline, a Race Core would remain like a seed, taking root and sprouting in the new age.
These were innate Race Cores, indelible symbols and derivatives of the Heavenly Dao.
So-called acquired Race Cores were actually easier to understand.
Take the Dragon Race's Nine Dragons and Nine Lineages, or the Phoenix Race's Five Phoenixes and Five Sects. Their descendants were born based on acquired Race Cores.
Yun Shang and Qing Shu were among them.
They were derivatives of the Dao.
