Background / History

Xu Kun built the Wild Race around the Plague Realm Ruins, using its natives—led by A Li—as the first batch of clansmen. The name reflects its birth in the Wildlands Battlefield: a race that emerged from the wilderness and is intended to grow wildly and without restraint. 2745 2802

Unlike conventional bloodline or innate races, the Wild Race was created through transformation. Early members were gathered from displaced races in the Wildlands, then reshaped in body, mind, and identity into Wild Race clansmen. Most of its later hundreds of millions of members were likewise cultivated or transformed after birth rather than descended through a long ancestral line. 2744 2784 3569

Xu Kun regards the Wild Race as a Human Race branch: an independent racial “clone” intended to rise rapidly, accumulate strength, and ultimately support a broader Human Race future. 2746 3551 The race later begins producing a genuine second generation, establishing the basis for inherited continuity rather than relying solely on conversion. 3027

Appearance

The Wild Race has no single natural morphology. Its members originated from many races, and ordinary clansmen can retain visible characteristics of their former bodies. Totem Wielders, however, are physically transformed to resemble humans. 2790

  • Ordinary members commonly possess A-grade bloodlines after transformation. 2791
  • Totem Wielders retain individual powers through manifested Beast Totems rather than permanently becoming those beasts. 2752
  • Their totems encompass dragons, phoenixes, kirins, fierce beasts, elements, and rarer Law Manifestations. 3577

Abilities & Skills

Totemic Power

Totemic Power is the Wild Race's defining cultivation system. It rejects the fixed inheritance paths of conventional bloodline and talent races, allowing members to manifest forms of power suited to their individual characteristics. 2752

  • Beast Totems are power manifestations, not literal transformations into the corresponding species. 2752
  • Totem Wielders can develop powers modeled after numerous Myriad Races bloodlines and abilities. 3577
  • Native Totem Wielders forged through life-and-death trials in the Tomb of the Kirin possess greater spirituality and potential than later acquired Totem Wielders. 3342
  • The system gives many prodigies a foundation for the Law, Heaven, and Earth divine power. 3342

Racial Transformation

The Wild Race can absorb and remake members of other races into its own clansmen. This process is intended to sever the subject's former racial identity completely. 2784

  • Transformation alters both body and mind. 2784
  • Converted members identify themselves solely as Wild Race clansmen. 2784
  • The system enabled the race to assemble a population exceeding 300 million before it possessed external racial territory. 2782

Kirin Radiance

Hongdou and the Twelve Kirin Scions can release Kirin Light to empower Wild Race forces in battle. Xu Kun can serve as their hidden energy source, vastly extending the technique's operational duration. 2816

  • Light rain can provide different buffs according to a recipient's needs. 2816
  • The enhancement is time-limited and must be renewed through additional Kirin Light. 2816
  • The technique enabled the Wild Race to meet Rat Race elites in direct battle after a prolonged conservative campaign. 2816

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Plague Realm Ruins — The Wild Race's Race Core and original homeland; its natives formed the first generation of clansmen. 2745
  • Tomb of the Kirin Online — A growth and trial environment used to cultivate native Totem Wielders. 3342
  • Myriad Wild Cauldron — Supreme artifact carrying the Wild Race's Aura of Luck; it absorbs defeated races' Totems and luck, supports Race Totem engraving, and tempers the race continuously. 3311 3577
  • Race Totem Imprints — More than 500 racial imprints on the Myriad Wild Cauldron provide templates for the Wild Race's diverse Totemic Powers. 3577

  • Treats conquered races, resources, Aura of Luck, and Race Totems as fuel for further expansion. 2824 3311
  • Maintains exceptional unity under Xu Kun's command, described as moving as easily as arms and fingers. 3588

Trivia

  • The Wild Race's early membership was almost entirely first-generation, transformed clansmen rather than naturally descended offspring. 3569
  • Its unexplained connection to the old Kirin homeland caused many outside races to speculate that it was related to the extinct Kirin Race. 2815 2824
  • Despite repeated opportunities, the Wild Race rejects external alliances and pursues a “lone wolf” path. 3235 3238
