Kalifa stood silently in a corner, her gaze constantly shifting between the two figures on and below the platform. The boss had really poked a hole in the sky this time. I should probably get ready to run away with him later.
Meanwhile, Shalulia stared blankly at Senga on the platform. For some reason, after being slapped by him, she actually found herself wanting more. The feeling left her at a loss, unable to understand what was wrong with herself.
